Military personnel in the 28Fr range are what the government determined fits 95% of them. One size had to be chosen, and it is 28Fr.
As an example, in Basic (Boot Camp), we had to administer these to each other to practice. Extremely uncomfortable, even with the proper amount of lubrication, because we aren't unconscious and used to it, it hurts and makes breathing difficult. were all ready to commit to it, you might be able to use it to help with positional sleep apnea, but it would be impossible to get
There is a packet of lube included with the ones we sell.

Selected User Reviews For Nasopharyngeal Airway (28 Fr., 9.3mm) with Surgilube
As a device, it consists of a simple-looking screen and a controller Using the adjunct requires no more than a little practice and some lubricant. There is literally a catch. It is not true that the product description states that the Surglube is included. Four of the last five I've purchased from the vendor didn't include the Surglube. I am fully aware that you can purchase lubricant elsewhere (albeit in a much larger container), but if you sell it with it, then it should be included as well. It's simply false advertising and, let's face it, doesn't it seem like we've had quite enough of it already? can get by without it, but feel it only fair to let prospective buyers know that I will not need it We will be following this up. A replacement had been promised by the vendor. I have received multiple emails from the vendor in response. There are multiple facets to the word There is nothing, zip, nada. A good NPA, but an absolutely horrible customer service and satisfaction score! It may be simply a matter of personal choice on your part, but I have purchased my last item.
(It was delivered It will expire one year from now ) However, as it will expire within six months, I can't use it in my first aid kit since it won't last.
It would be wonderful if I never had to use it. The size of one shoe will not fit all, however it is by far the most commonly used one. When you need to use a tool during an emergency, you have to measure the length of the tool to ensure that you are using the proper tool.
I've added it to my trauma kit, and I hope it never needs to be used. A nice feature is that it comes with a little packet of lubricant, so it will be really helpful when you have to insert the airways. wouldn't recommend this product for those who are not trained in its use, but for those who are, this is a good product at a good price, and well packaged.
Tubes and lubricants are not packaged together, so be sure to have a way to keep them attached. Several of these have arrived to me, and they all seem to come packaged in the same way I guess you could say it's sort of a half-seal. It seems this is to keep the tube from crushing when fully vacuumed. There is barely space without folding in an 8 x 6 x 3 without having to fold in the package. This pouch, which I use, comes in an inch size.
The product comes in a sterile plastic bag and is made with medical grade materials.
This is the minimum standard, and some lube is I liked the way it was packaged. I bought it for a small kit that I keep in my For six different sizes, I simply do not have the space. The most used one is available, but I still have room for.
The purpose of these is to give the victim air if they had suffered facial trauma and there was no feasible air source through the mouth. After having practiced with these, I can assure you it is a strange and unpleasant thing to have in, but nonetheless an essential item for your IFAK kit.
