The belt fits me perfectly. I had to enlarge the opening a bit because I am a large man and used the style with a cloth style around my stoma.
Honestly, I am not sure, but I would guess it to be For a person with a large stoma, this is plentiful and more than enough
Hey there, you can just wash it with cold or warm water, but avoid bleach or hot water.

A life-saving cushion of comfort and safety will be this Belt during the interim since I had to wear it for over a month due to a large incisional hernia. The hernia has since been surgically repaired, but this belt has proved invaluable during the interim.
40 inches is the size of my waist. Hollister 8551 works perfectly for my parastomal hernia that needs support when I exercise. The supports 3 inch opening fits right around it. This is a large size with a length of 43 inches. Approximately 7 in. of Velcro is used on each section. All the velcro closures can be back to back when I have this on. There's not as much flexibility in the mesh as I thought there would be. Despite being stiff, it feels soft to the touch. Because it doesn't conform to the curves of my body, it's not comfortable. Washing it in the washer will probably not make it any better.
I do wish the brace was wider. I have checked out the company and will be ordering a brace Having a secure abdominal wrap for my hernia is easier with this than with a bandage and I feel confident about taking care of my Ostomy with it. Highly recommend though I would make sure that if it doesn't reach your hernia you should order a wider version on their website.
I think I got it one size too big, but I measured myself in advance. Occasionally, I get a bit of melting on my wafer so it sticks to the belt but otherwise it is a good belt. Just don't expect it to last you very long for the price, I would be satisfied if it lasted me 3 months. If you have one for four months, make sure to handwash it.

I just got it so I don't know for sure but I think it might improve ostomy bag sealing & make the ostomy bag more comfortable A longer sentence. Unfortunately, this does not benefit me since I already have a huge parastomal hernia, I have extra belly fat, and eventually I will get some bulging of the skin above and below which could be treated with a wider belt.
The pants are ridiculously uncomfortable for the price. For the price, you'd expect them to stay in place and not roll up. The seams also came apart, causing my skin to chafe, and I wasn't comfortable at all.
