It was a good investment. I'm glad I bought it. I use it to keep my wafer bag and my entire snack dry. This is one of the books I have recommended to everyone I know with an ostomy.

It is far superior to anything I have tried before

The size small is right for me I am able to adjust the straps to fit my small frame easily since they are partially elasticized. My opening all the way around had to be increased by 1/4". To tuck the ileostomy pouch into the opening of the skin barrier does require some effort, but when done correctly, the pouch and skin barrier remain completely.

If you must wear a big ostomy bag, it is not the greatest

were wearing a "typical" ostomy bag it would be fine, but the large size does not cover what I have to wear since a suture has opened up and the supplies I have to put into it mean that it does not work for my situation. Although only covering up the bottom half, the top of the band is completely exposed, and the water does not skip over over it.

A poor fit and poor performance of the product. The belt is very long and can not accommodate someone of average size. I had to tie the belt straps in order to wear the product. Moreover, the water fills the pouch to the brim while you are taking a shower. Usually when I take a shower, I find that I can't keep a bag on for very long because I have a lot of output, so I thought this would be good for quick showers, but the bag fell apart after.
