Is it possible to wear these directly on the skin?

The adhesive would be unable to function properly due to natural moisture from your skin. They should be placed in the shoe for best results.

Is it possible to have them cut to a specific size?

Because the entire backing is adhesive, you could probably cut them and it would be fine; however, don't expect much from these unless you only need a very small raised area. They are much flatter than the pads I received from the podiatrist, and I have yet to use them because they will not help my feet feel any better. What you pay for is exactly what you get.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so in the hopes of preventing others from going through the same ordeal. While repositioning the metatarsal pad on one of my shoes, I slowly and gently peeled it off. - Much to my dismay - The adhesive on the pad then began to peel the paint off my shoe. These shoes retailed for $200 and were extremely difficult to come by. limited edition tango shoes that have been ruined, as you can see in the photo. Despite the fact that the pads themselves were comfortable and promising (hence the two-star rating, which was quite generous considering the circumstances), I strongly advise anyone against purchasing them due to the adhesiveness and risk of irreversible shoe damage. It was such a letdown.

Foot cushions that are soft and comfortable

These are extremely comfortable to wear on your feet. These are your best friend if you wear high heels, and if you have foot aches, this is also a great product to have. I like the variety of colors in a pack of six. I'm hoping they last a long time because I don't want to be without them. I'm sure I'll buy it again.

I despise wearing heels, but these inserts make them much more bearable

Not only do I have enough for several pairs of heels, but I also have enough for several pairs of flats. Because my feet are narrow, they prevent them from sliding, and they also help with flat feet. They're not like other similar products I've tried; they stick to your shoes and don't last long. They're also reusable, which I appreciate.

A fantastic cushion for the forefoot

They are soft and comfortable, with just enough cushion and support, and the ashesion is excellent, though they can be repositioned if necessary. When removed from the shoe, it leaves no sticky residue. There are six pairs included to accommodate all of your footwear.
