The texture and thickness of these were excellent. They have a nice thick "bump" that runs along the back of the toe/front of the ball to provide extra cushioning. They were not, unfortunately, the product I required for my feet. It's not that the product is defective; it's just that it isn't the right fit for my irritable feet. Customer service on Amazon is excellent. As per policy, you will receive a prompt refund. If you're looking for a good Metatarsal product, you should definitely give them a shot.

They must've fixed my feet, because I swear they did! I wear them in all of my Tango shoes, but you should know that only the small size will fit in ballroom shoes. These are fine for me because I wear a women's size 9, but the other sizes are enormous! Because most dance shoes only come in a medium width, I usually have enough room for these in my shoes. If you have wide feet, you may need a shoe with an adjustable front to fit them, as they do take up room, but the pain relief is well worth it!.
It was something I regretted. My right foot (which initially suffered less pain in the ball area) now has another pain near the arch and additional pain on the ball of the foot after I put it on (followed the picture guide exactly) and went out for about an hour. Whereas the pain in my left foot's ball becomes more intense (the main reason I bought it was to relieve the pain in my left foot). I only wore it once before I couldn't stand it any longer. It was a complete waste of money!.

These are by far the best ball of foot pads I've ever seen. As a major shoe lover and a girl who can't resist a beautiful pair of high heels, these are by far the best ball of foot pads I've ever seen. You can cut them down to fit into any pair of pumps (except sandals or open shoes, which I don't recommend). They'll show) and they're comfortable to wear all day. They are certainly pricey, but because they are not adhesive, you can use them in multiple pairs of shoes and the backing keeps them in place.
