In fact, it is exactly how it looks on the picture
It is used to relieve foot pain caused by capsulitis. It needs to be placed carefully, otherwise it won't work. You can find out the specific placement on YouTube.
Gail Novick here. Located underneath my shoe insert, these pads are made up of medium to hard felt. I use them as an extra cushion under my feet. If they feel too big, I lightly sand them. The rubber ones are just as good, if not better, than these. It might help if you read this.
Upon scrolling down the page and looking at the Description section, you will see the dimensions. In any case, these are the measurements I took The diameter is 2 1/4 inches at its widest point, and the length is 2 3/4 inches. The width gets narrower as the length increases. About 3/16th of an inch is the height of the center, although it flattens a little as it uses. Hopefully this will be helpful to you! My opinion is that the pads are excellent.

When I walk, I have a long metatarsal bone, on the left foot, that shifts quite a bit. Because of this slight anomaly, my foot does not balance well at the ball of my foot since my middle part of the foot hits the ground before the outer edge and does not form a tripod balance in the proper foot framework. It leads to the formation of a callus in the middle of the ball of my foot, discomfort, and pain when I walk, as well as Morton's neuroma formation, which can cause numbness and pain in the smaller toes and just under them as well. In my shoes, I should use meta cookies like these and arch supporting insoles, if I want to address all this, I was recommended by a podiatrist. (All of my shoes and slippers have green Superfeet insoles. Taking the insole out, placing the pad on it with the backing still attached, then carefully placing my bare foot on top, adjusting placement as necessary, I place the insole back in its place. As soon as I have a place in mind, I mark it on the insole so I can stick it precisely where I want it. After the sticky side of it adheres to the insole, I can put the insole into the shoe and it's ready to wear. The odd sensation of having something under your foot all day is worth the weird feeling of something under your foot at first. However, the aforementioned problems are definitely improved, so it is well worth the weird feeling. Even though I still get callus, the nerve nodules that started to form have disappeared after using this product every day in all of my My congenital foot issue is a major concern for me, and I know I am doing everything I can to address it. I only have one complaint the paper is so easy to peel away from the adhesive that it is difficult to peel it off. In attempts to catch the edge with my fingernail (which I still do every single time I replace these), I fail to get to the adhesive layer and just peel away the paper. In order to get the paper peel started, I use a large Exacto knife (or scissor blade) to cut through the middle of the backing. After that, I just bend out at the cut to get the paper peel going. It is a little frustrating, but I have managed to get it done. The felt is made of matte material, which tends to flatten over time, so it's good to get a nice value pack like this, which will last for a long time. My foot is deformed, so I will need them for the rest of my life, so I will keep buying the larger packs as long as they are available.
It was a bad idea to not purchase these pads earlier. After wearing them for just a few days I have experienced relief from my foot pain. My foot is almost free from the popping sound it used to make when I walked barefoot. Now that I have a heel that doesn't hurt, I can wear them without having as much pain in my Placing the pads below the ball of your foot will ensure that they are in the correct position. Place it correctly, and you will notice the difference. A few tries will be necessary to get the right result. After putting my shoe on, I put a dab of red lipstick below my ball of foot to mark where I want to place the pad.
There are several versions of these felt metatarsal pads in my order. This one was too small but had the same shape. I was charged $4 each for the extras when I asked the Podiatrist to use this one in my shoe. The fact that I stumbled across this pad before abandoning my search is gratifying for me! The neuroma that has splayed two toes and requires surgery is relieved by it and is very comfortable. My goal is to delay the surgery for as long as possible, so these pads are the only reason I can walk comfortably for any distance. I recommend them highly.
For restoring arch supports, this has proven to be a great product. There is a good chance that these may help if you have pain on the front of your foot or just behind your toes. Ideally, they should be positioned just behind the front of the ball of the foot in the arch. You stick them directly to the removable insole after they peel off the adhesive backing. There could be a tab on the peel off backing so that you could simply pull it off and peel, but it isn't included. It can be very difficult to peel them My foot pain has been eliminated completely when I position them correctly. Replacing them once a month is recommended.
When I tried a thinner one without the skived edges, it was essentially Despite the fact that the adhesive coating is easy to remove, I have no problems wearing them directly on my foot, where they remain for several days without irritation. As a result, I am able to walk my usual 2 miles a day without experiencing any While there is still some ache from the neuroma, that is better than pain in the long run. These pads will undoubtedly be life-saving in the long run. Keeping moving is the key!.
It can cause a great deal of discomfort in the foot pads because I have a Mortons neuroma. They were recommended to me by my podiatrist, and she wasn't wrong.
Since I have been using these little pads, I have been able to walk much more easily. When placed in the correct position, they relieve the pressure on the area in the middle of my foot below the back of my toes. Please be aware. As soon as you remove the adhesive backing from your foot, your foot will be sticky. It is easy to remove the adhesive from the foot by soaking it in warm water and soap. In some cases, I just position the pad without removing its adhesive paper when I am wearing socks or hosiery. You decide what works best.
The Metatarsal Pads that I use are exactly what my podiatrist prescribes. It is true that these pads are 1/4 inch in size instead of 1/4 inch as some other brands claim. In the past, I ordered from other vendors at much higher prices. I will stick with Dr. Jill's brand. Quality and price are both great!.
