I broke my toe and after 3 months it still didn't heal. I had an MRI of my foot did by my doctor. It revealed serious problems with my foot due to the break. My work demands me to be on my feet for up to eight hours a day. My toes were in pain, so I purchased these to alleviate that. It was exactly as stated in the instructions, especially as far as not stretching it too far. First 2 times I wore it, the pain was alleviated to some extent, not entirely, but it was enough to ease my discomfort. My third time wearing it, there was a good deal of suction between the sleeve and sole of my foot, as if the sleeve were moment I got into my vehicle, I took off my shoes and socks and found that the left side of the joining had ripped through completely, and the right side was beginning to come apart. It's not the first time I've used Metatarsal inserts, but these are the worst I've ever had. The vents are on top, making them seem like they are vented on the side. It is usually the bottom of the foot that sweats. I actually found them very uncomfortable to wear during the day because as you sweat and wear them, they move around and make walking uncomfortable at best. At the end of the day when I took them off, my feet hurt worse than if I were barefoot on stone streets. Saving money and time, not to mention saving your feet, is a great thing.
