There are a variety of sizes to choose from, depending on your requirements. I wore mine on my toe and kept it on even when I was not wearing a shoe! Within four days, I saw results. After removing the used pad, washing the toe, and reapplying, wait 5 days. I usually put it on after a shower at night and wore it all day the next day. This is an excellent item.
For the time being, I'm giving it a low rating because the corn grew bigger the first time I tried it. I tried again and got nothing, so I'm trying again; if it doesn't work, I'll know the good reviews are due to the bonus offer included in the package. To be fair, if it accomplishes anything, I will revise my rating.
I've spent hundreds of dollars trying every product on the market. If you include the cost of footwear, the total cost could be in the thousands. If you have corns, every home remedy and doctor will tell you to buy non-rubbing shoes. It's a lot easier to say than it is to do. Even though I have fairly normal feet, I have yet to find a shoe or boot that does not rub the tops of my toes. br>br>I steered clear of these pads because they appeared to be clumsy and low-cost. I decided to give them a try and placed one of the larger pads on my most painful, worst corn. I kept it for roughly 48 hours. It was hurting and burning by the end of the second day. When I removed the pad, I discovered that my corn had grown to twice its normal size, the center of the corn had risen to the top, and the skin around the "eye" had turned white, as if it were dead or dying. That night, it hurt so much that I couldn't sleep. I applied triple antibiotic ointment to it for the next three days and used makeup applicator wedges (the thickest foam I could find) between my toes to prevent rubbing. The skin around the corn peeled off easily with my fingers on the third day. br>I am a man, by the way, and I stole these from my wife. br> There is still work to be done, but I am pain-free for the time being. What a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. People, particularly my wife, have no idea how distressing these situations are. My point is that it isn't completely gone yet, but I believe it will be in the near future. I have no idea who this company is; I could look it up, but I'm trying to make a point here; buy these and follow the steps I laid out. While wearing it, deal with the discomfort and burning. My toe was about to fall off, believe me. I believe it was infected, and if it was, the triple antibiotic treatment cleared it up. br>br>Best of luck! Although the pads are self-adhesive, I used hockey tape to keep them in place. I use hockey tape instead of medical tape because it is less expensive and sticks to itself.
For about a year, I had this defiant corn. Last year, I used the pads for about two weeks and noticed that the corn had vanished. It reappeared in the first few months of this year. I was now dead set on getting the root out, so I used it nonstop for about a month. I had to peel off five layers of skin before I could see the root. I wore it all day, switching out for a new one after a shower and foot soak. I did experience some sensitivity in the final layers, but nothing too severe. I wore supportive shoes and tried to stay off my feet as much as possible. I didn't even need the extra tape because the adhesive is so good. I'm now using Vaseline and socks at night to bring my poor foot back to life. No more ballet flats, I've learned my lesson.
I stopped using them because I didn't believe they were working. The corn and a large chunk of callous fell off two days later!.
Between my pinky toe and the one next to it, I had a horrible, painful corn that wouldn't go away. I bought these in the hopes of getting rid of it. They cling to the surface extremely well and do not shift in any way. They also come with extra adhesive film strips to go over top of the bandage if you have any trouble getting them to stick. br>br>I had no choice but to do it in stages. I wore it for two days (it can be worn for up to 48 hours). When I removed the bandage, I peeled/cut away as much dead skin as I could, but it went deeper into the skin, so I put another on and took away more until I had it all removed. It takes some time to get used to, but it is very effective. Because the skin underneath is tender while it heals, I simply remove the little orange disc from the center and continue to cushion it with the bandage and pad. It is critical that the medicated disc does not come into contact with healthy skin. I'll spare you the photos of the procedure, but I'm overjoyed, and my foot is finally at ease after far longer than it should have been!.
Among all the similar products available on the internet, this is the only one that has worked for my wart since my initial purchase. Another corn on my toe prompted me to purchase this product. The dead skin is peeling off after two days. This is a purchase that I am confident in.
These were absolutely necessary for me as a pedestrian.
