Taking a shower will get rid of the pad. I've been using these pads for several years & I love them My favorite pads are the ones that come off after a shower but all pads I've tried do as well.
Can the foot be found above the heel? A callus is probably not present, what about It may be advisable to use something made specifically for hot spots such as Trislide or Bodyglide. However, to answer your question, I believe that putting a cushion over the hot spot may make it feel worse. There's a lot of cushion here.

As a young girl, I was embarrassed to have anyone see my feet I never had a pedicure, either. I tried rocks, lotions, creams, shavers, and pretty much anything else I could find with little to no success. All of these things are astounding to me. The first set was used for 48 hours, then I removed them for 24 hours, then I used a second set for 48 hours. I waited about a week, and I was able to remove over half of the thickness. My third treatment lasted 48 hours, and I found that while I pulled the skin off (gross warning), most of the callus was also removed. In less than a week I expect to be free of callus for the first time in over 20 years. This is amazing. I really can't believe I did not find it sooner. I had no problems with the skin underneath and it wasn't.

There is no doubt that these work and do so This product is very easy to use, but I recommend covering the little disc you place on the bottom of your foot with a piece of bandage tape for extra security. Other than that, it won't stick to your foot. I saved a trip to the doctor's office with this product, and it completely 'killed' the painful plantar.
It's good but I just think that when it's on skin it sweat when it has socks on for the adhesive you have to actually slide it back to place where the calluses are especially when bathing I wouldn't want to get it too wet which is not easy to do.
As a result of an annoying callus on the bottom of my foot, I ordered these socks to get a better grip when walking.
As long as the adhesive is removed from the shower, it won't stick there. In any case, they do work the way they're supposed to. It is something I will keep in mind when I need it again.
The product in the blue package isn't the same as the one in the red I could not peel the medicated discs off the backing because the plastic stayed so tightly to them that they tore if I tried to pull them off. It would be helpful if I canceled the subscription I have to this item. It appears to be poor value for money, and I was unable to rate the comfort level.
