In the past I received many steroid shots, only to have my keloid return. I recently underwent surgery to completely get rid of it. I was advised to use silicone sheets as part of my healing process by my plastic surgeon. Perfectly stick to these! Since my scar is 5in long, I was able to cut them both ways to maximize the amount of use. I prefer this color to the white tape or "bandages" because it is transparent and not as distracting and annoying. There is one criticism, and that is that since you have to take them on and off and wash them, they should be stored somehow. Then, they can be stored while they are not in use. It's adhesive, but you should wrap something around it before you go to bed (your skin repairs while you sleep). After having it for a couple nights, it hasn't lost its adherent.
