Mederma is a good product based on my own experience. This solution requires time and repeated application over a long period of time it is not a magic potion that will work overnight. I use it to treat old scars, and it has had good results for me. Furthermore, I treated an older scar that is just barely a memory now, so as strange as it seems I cannot give the full credit to this product for it because I am not sure what has actually been accomplished by it. But I also had two older scars that were very visible, one from an infection in primary school and another from a friction burn later on, and both showed a lot of improvement (the first is completely gone and the second is barely visible as it wasn't in an obvious place). If you can find a generic version of this stuff then go for it! This stuff used to be incredibly overpriced, and there is a generic now so if you can find that, Do not forget to use it strictly and do not abandon the practice prematurely.
