Compared to what I would prefer, this goes on thicker. However, it does not work as well for the itching as some of the other lotions. Also, it is not really a good lotion for use on the face. I can guarantee you that the price here on Amazon is better than in any drug store. The fact that the bottle is so small makes it easy to carry with you anywhere you go, whether you have to shake it up in your bag before you go to work or out. My favorite use for this is for.
