Having read the description it makes basic sense although it was not clear how well it would actually be able to suck out the poison. I decided to try it for the price but got bitten up on both my knees the next day. My knees felt better when I used this after I got home. My vacuum had good suction after I pumped it up as tight as it would go. It probably took me 30 to 45 seconds to hold it there. At least ten times on each knee I repeated this, making certain I was being as thorough as possible. Since I was skeptical during my teens' summer vacations and since I am the mom of teenagers who get eaten alive every year, I was willing to test the theory. The device I have does not prevent me from being bitten by mosquitoes, so I tried my best to avoid getting bitten. Even when I saw one I tried to windmill my arms, but it didn't work.
