In the microwave I warm it up for about 2 minutes per side. I have herniated discs in both my neck and my back, so I warm it up to help with that. A replacement had to be ordered after my old one exploded in a hotel lobby microwave. I have always dreamed of having a heating pad like this. My muscles are softened perfectly by the weight (gentle pressure), and the warmth is amazing. All I can say is that I am disappointed in the smell, which is a little too aromatic for my tastes. As the description clearly states that the smell is of lavender and peppermint, I'm not taking away a star. After just a few uses, it dissipated a lot. I am extremely pleased with the service!.

Great product. If you have pain in the neck/shoulders or if you just want to get some heat on that area, this product works great. As an additional measure of relief, the weighted wrap applies the right amount of pressure. Each of us uses it on a daily basis. It is definitely a purchase I would make.
