It is a great value for the money. A cream would be preferable to an ointment for me. You won't get anything on your clothes and you won't see any of it I am furnishing. As opposed to creams, this ointment does not soak into the skin. Nevertheless, when it became clear that the Neosporin was allergic, we took appropriate measures. It was Polysporin that helped save the day!.
I was advised to use this instead of Neosporin on my incision by my plastic surgeon. My tube lasted about two weeks despite not having a smell, being quite small, and being a little bit limiting. In order to keep my cut from closing, I had to use it three times a day. This was a good deal for the money. I was able to heal pretty fast on some areas that were giving me trouble.
I recommend a 1/2 oz tube, but I prefer the 14 oz Polysporin was recommended by my doctor to heal my abrasions rather than Neosporin. Though I use it so slowly that I'm sure I'll use up half of an ounce before I reach the end. In the old tube (expired), there was only 1/2oz of liquid. To carry in my backpack and get rid of the waste when it expires, I would prefer that size again.
I used this product to treat the inside of my nose after a scrape/cut type wound healed in a matter of hours. It did not sting, kept it fresh for hours, and protected the wound from infection. Quite easy to apply, I didn't experience pain upon application, and it stays put after a while. I was able to recover from my wound within There is no white cream or paste here it is a clear gel.
The package arrived in good condition. The product is brand new and has a date of expiration in excess of one year. That's fine. Polysporin will do as Polysporin does. This is not very effective immediately (it only gets a 3 to a 4 star rating in it) but it is there.
It was just picked up today for me to treat a deep cut on my foot in an area I cannot mention. As of right now, I am feeling a bit relieved. It's a good thing, I'll try to update this review in a couple of.
Southern California is very hot, and the product does not behave as normal if it is in a warm warehouse or truck. The trip to the drugstore was difficult for me due to my illness.
The only thing I use on my dog for every boo boo is this product, and he does not get an infection from it. Compared to what you'll be charged by the vet for antibiotics, it is a lot cheaper.
