Effective for sanitation but ineffective. Water is formed from peroxide as it decomposes over time. Our case had an expiration date of 2021, but had probably been stored in the wrong way. I did not notice any smell and water did not bubble when the peroxide was brought into contact with it. This product is still potent after over 35 years. It's scary to think people may be using this product for sanitation without knowing its potency.
Water is what it is. Since the expiration date is 12/2021, this shouldn't be the case. As I opened a second bottle, I found the protective seal had barely made it.
