Questions & Answers
Rael's core is made of chlorine-free natural pulp that is infused with a super absorbent polymer. We hope this answer to your question has been helpful. Please contact us via Amazon buyer seller messages if you have any questions. Thanks!
In a nutshell, the answer is no. The top sheet will be made of cotton. The middle absorbency layer is made of SAP, which the seller fails to adequately describe; sometimes the polymers are derived from petrochemicals, and other times they are derived from plants. Both wood pulp and paper pulp do not have to be mutually exclusive. As a result, the amount of time it takes for biodegradation varies and may never be known - A geologic age is a period of time that spans thousands of years. The polyethylene, PP backing, and other materials are all made of plastic and are not biodegradable. My information comes from baby diaper research, which is equally depressing. However, you will have a difficult time finding something better. If you do, please contact us.
They aren't designed for incontinence, but they may be useful for minor mishaps. Please take a look at our overnight size, as it is dependent on the flow.
If these are the same pads as the ones I saw on their website, they're quite long. Overnight rainfall is expected to be 13 inches.
Selected User Reviews For Rael Organic Cotton Cover Pads - Heavy Absorbency, Unscented, Ultra Thin Pads for Women, Postpartum (Extra Long Overnight, 12 Count)
I bought Rael organic cotton pads because I've been getting skin irritation every month without fail. After doing some research, I discovered that the traditional pads' plastic lining and chemicals may be the source of my irritation. I debated between organic cotton pads and cloth pads, but in the end, I chose organic cotton pads because cleaning cloth pads is something I only do as a last resort. br>br>These pads had a lot of positive feedback, so I decided to give them a shot. I immediately opened them when they arrived to inspect and compare them to my Always Overnight Ultra Thins. Due to my heavy flow, I'll be using overnights for the first three days. I bought the overnight version of Rael pads as a result of this and based on reviews. In the other reviews, it appears that a few key details were left out. These ARE your grandmother's pads, first and foremost. They're quite long as well as being quite thick. I didn't make a snap decision based solely on appearance. I figured I'd be willing to put up with it if it didn't cause me any skin irritation. br>br>A few days after receiving these pads, it was time to put them on display! I opened the packaging and discovered that they were much longer than I had anticipated. These pads covered every surface of my underwear, even though I am a fluffy girl (pants size 18). I made a joke to myself, thinking that at the very least I wouldn't have to be concerned about leaking. My assumptions were incorrect. br>br>These pads are extremely absorbent, but the staining on the pad does not appear to be a reliable indicator of how much liquid has been absorbed. It did, in fact, become public knowledge. I started changing them when I was supposed to be changing the Always pads. That was an excellent solution. br>br>As far as overnights go, that was a colossal flop! I'll keep it simple and say that my sheets were strewn about, but the pad was spotless. So, I like the pads because they are absorbent and I haven't experienced any irritation this month. I don't care for them because I can't wear them overnight and expect to wake up with clean sheets.
During my period in January 2017, I began to have EXCRUCIATING cramps and VERY heavy bleeding with HUGE blood clots. It was so bad that I was taking 1k milligrams of Advil every day, but it didn't help. I didn't realize I needed to do anything until I bled for three days straight after my cycle and had to go to the ER. I continued to use standard pads. I had no idea what I was up against. Shouldn't our sanitary napkins, after all, be just that? I came across a video on Facebook of a man discussing the chemicals in traditional padding. I went out and bought NatraCare, and the next cycle went off without a hitch! I only had minor leg cramps. However, I still required a longer, thicker pad. I found these and I'm telling you, I'm a CUSTOMER FOR LIFE! I told all of my friends about it, and the majority of them switched to Rael. The advantages to one's health are numerous. Please try organic pads if you are suffering from excruciating cramping. They allow your vagina to breathe, toxins aren't absorbed into your bloodstream, plastic isn't rubbing against you, and you won't get that icky, sweaty, wet feeling. My sister suggested I become a spokesperson for Rael, but after my health scare and months of debilitating cramps that disappeared once I switched, I feel compelled to inform every woman about these products. Hopefully, your misery will come to an end.
These were recommended to me by a friend, and I'm so glad she did! This is a fantastic pad! There is an additional "top flap" that protects your underwear from the "overflow" that occurs frequently. It takes some time to get used to having to do the sticky part up there, but it's well worth it! Beware if you're used to a pad that doesn't stink after a few hours of use. They don't really help with odor control because all of the anti-odor chemicals are missing (which is exactly what I wanted and is fine with me)!.
They're not as absorbent as the bad-tempered ones. for- you're chemically based In the stores, there are a lot of laden pads, but hey, I'll take the trade off. My gynecologist suggested that the chemicals in regular pads may be the cause of my constant irritability and infections. I switched to these and have noticed a significant improvement in my performance! I've tried a few different brands and these are the most absorbent and have the longest length. I could have worn no pad at all if the thin organic pads from always hadn't been a complete joke. Even though they are expensive, I buy a lot of these from RAEL. Your health is something you can't put a price on. Companies that use harmful toxic chemicals in other pads should be ashamed of themselves. We, as women, must advocate for ourselves. Do your homework, stay informed, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. RAEL, I'd like to express my gratitude for all you've done for me. And no, I wasn't paid to write this review; I did it because I wanted to assist other women.
After running out of these pads and being unable to locate them locally, I settled for a different brand, bigmistake verybigmistake, a few months ago. Nothing compares to swelling or liesons on your lady parts, to say the least. I had been in excruciating pain for months and had no idea why. This brand embodies everything it promotes. 100% cotton with exceptionally high absorbency and quality. While the package size is small, the quality of the pad allows maximum usage. Fits and sits comfortably as I move throughout the day and holds well during my excercise routine With other brands, I'd go through three or four pads in a single day. These aren't among them.
I've read good things about it, but I haven't had any personal experience with it. The overnight pads' wings are positioned toward the front of your underwear instead of the center, and they don't stick well. They unraveled in the blink of an eye. If you want to keep a pad in your bag, the wrapping is also odd because it's made of a breathable fabric that isn't water proof. It's not even close to being a usable product.
