Questions & Answers

While I have never been pregnant, I prefer 'slim' tampons, and I am 30-years-old with a big build (tall, broad-shouldered It was hip). Do I need a large or a small?

It is best to start out with size 1 if you have not given birth vaginally before regardless of your Because I am over 30, I tried the size 2 first and wasn't able to wear it. I feel like it was way too big which prevented it from forming a seal and caused leakage and discomfort. After switching to size 1, I found that it works perfectly. My life has been so much easier now that I no longer have to use I must confess that the age recommendation is a bit Birth canals don't suddenly lose their elasticity at 30, nor is 30 the magical age when they do. I think that it's pretty obvious from the answers here that most of the 30+ women without children did much better

Please answer the following question seriously Can anyone tell me if they've ever had trouble getting the Divacup out when removing it? Afraid to try the Diva Cup! I'd like to try it but have a great fear of it! ?

You have nothing to worry about. It was a concern of mine as well, but it is simple. You have muscles down there - they are used for pushing out babies and have the same properties as muscles used for kegel exercise. the time comes to take the cup out, you pinch its top and pull just above the stem, breaking the seal, like you would a baby you push, like you would pushing a kegel exercise. When I first did this because the diva cup went high up there, I thought it was complicated, but now this is how I remove the diva cup regularly because it is

Surely this is a terrible question, but what about large blood It is that stage of my cycle when I have clots that are a lot bigger than usual. How well does this work with ?

As a newbie, I have no clue what I'm doing. While my period started out well, I realized the hard way that I can't wait to go for my period until it is heavy enough to wait until then A 12 hour period is required for the cup to be empty. This is the #2 cup I am using. In my opinion, I have to empty it at least three or four times each As of yet, it hasn't been completed.

Do you know when it is full or when it is ?

Over the last three years, I have used this cup almost daily. when it's time for a change when I can feel the cup slide down. It is also a known fact that on my heavy days (day 4/5) I have to dump and clean every 1 1/2 to 2 hours. It is my habit to keep watch over the time. It's gonna sound weird, but when I dump, I say the time out loud and I normally take a nap or doze off (when it's heavy days, my body is a wreck) and my husband will say "babe-if it's getting heavy! " It's time to end the 2 hours! As I get up, I say, "And I get up.". I'm glad I have a helper, haha

Is knocked off
3/5

I wouldn't recommend buying anything! The Diva Cup as we know it is not real. A knockoff of this product has been made. Since I have been using the Diva Cup for four years, I cannot imagine ever going without In the past, I have purchased one at Whole Foods once a year, but now I purchase it exclusively from Amazon. The moment I saw him, I knew something was wrong. As a result, it was leaking, and the cup itself was not catching liquids, which I'd never experienced in all the years I've been When I took a good look at it, I found that it was missing the microscopic holes that go around the circumference at the top. My first choice of comparing it to it was Whole Foods, which was of a similar color and size. Here is a picture of what we're talking about (see below). If it is the true Diva Cup, then it should have holes in the top to allow it to function. My recommendation for the Diva Cup is the original, but this version clearly isn't.

There was also a photocopied appearance to the instructions
3/5

It appears to be a counterfeit product. The silicone is thinner and the cup is lighter than the old one, the box is a different color, the bag is of a different color and bigger, and the instructions appear to be copied.

yourself * 2) you must be comfortable getting a bit messy * 3) you must have a sink nearby * 4) you must Depending on the temperature, you can have difficulty getting situated if the air is dry. I have had to insert and reinsert this several times because it would not open right away. There are a few ways to fold the cup to ensure that it opens. However, not every way will work every time. the walls of my vaginal cavity together with my fingers, hoping to open enough space for the cup to pop out The cup will have to be spun to make sure nothing is pinched in still - I find this works half the time. * I insert and remove personally - I do not go into a shop. * This will cause leakage and causing a vacuum seal will make it more difficult to remove. There is a squatty potty where I sit. My experience has shown me that this is extremely beneficial! It has been tried to insert in the tub while squatting, doing it while sitting on a toilet in a public restroom, and doing it while standing with one foot raised. The most convenient method is to use a squatty potty, followed by a bathtub. Public bathrooms are the worst due to the fear of germs, dropping it, and getting to a sink etc. This should not discourage anyone though! Even though I have been using tampons for years and years, I have only been using this for You have to learn how to do it, but once you get the hang of it, it will just become a matter of practice.

Tips If water is leaking, it is because the rings are no longer the right size or the rings are not in place. Cup 1 is what I use and I am 32 and don't have kids My goal is to see what the difference should be between cup 2 and cup 1. Besides that, there are various brands to choose from According to the depth of your cervix, you might need to try an alternative style if the Diva doesn't work. You won't have to worry about these cups being too big The vagina is like an umbrella and will open in order to accommodate the girth. (Unless you kegel) You should not feel anything like this at all. It's sometimes hard to feel the difference between tampons and pads If they dry you out, they are too long, or poking something at an odd angle, and they leave you with a dry throat. Due to the fact that the vagina does not have nerve endings, you should not feel this at all. In certain situations, the stem could be too long, your cervix may be shallow, or it might be in at an odd angle and poking you in the wrong place. In that case, you should remove it and replace it Insert by folding.

We have to fold in order to insert! This is a tip for level Once you have inserted it, clean yourself up before you do so, and then clean yourself up again afterward. By checking whether your cup is really leaking, or if it has just become stuck in the blood after insertion, you will see if you are leaking in the first place. The following three tips will help you Make sure you know where you are going! once filled this cup to its brim My cup began to leak and I took it out It was packed to the brim! The mucus will 'fall out' the minute you remove the cup if there is mucous flow. Don't let anything stop you! After you have completed your cycle, sanitize in boiling water. You should be able to use this for years to come! Compare and contrast In order to understand the concept of menstrual cups better, let's take a look at some examples. The cat, who has a rubber fetish and now a silicone fetish, ran off with it after I placed it on the sink to rinse before inserting it. It takes about 2 minutes. The following measurements are in inches high 5 On the photograph with the yardstick, you can see how each cup was used for a few days of my cycle, both for a light flow and heavier mucus. was working perfectly, no leaks

DivaCup Size 1 is for mothers who have not yet given birth or are under 30 years of age. This size is for women over 30 or postpartum. There is a slight difference between the narrow top and wide bottom of the cup. However, the stem of the DivaCup is open, so I prefer it to the CU-i Those parts are difficult to clean because blood and fluid collect in them. In some cases, the wider stem can be helpful for removal, but it won't work in all cases. Because it comes only in clear, it will eventually discolor since blood stains are left behind. With a moderate firmness and a thin edge, the DivaCup is not for the very light. The cup is easy to fold, and inserting is not an issue most of the time (the suction is to blame for opening difficulties sometimes). The Bloom Cup is my second favorite. It is visually similar to Diva, comes in funky colors, which is great for It was a mistake to pick Red, which is really a salmon color, and I should have chosen lime green instead. In contrast to Diva, it has a very thin edge and moderate It is easy to fold and insert, and it does not require much effort to open. It may be more difficult to remove the body of this doll than that of Diva, as the body is softer. I tend to grab the base just above the stem when removing this doll. In terms of least favorite, I would rank EvaCup and Athena Cup as a tie due to defying the odds. In addition to being SOFT, the Athena Cup is priced competitively There is too much flimsiness to them, the edge and body squeeze too easily and they simply do not hold up. It is difficult to pop open the edges of the cup inside you, because the cup is soft. Having difficulty with these cups was the most frustrating part of the project. There was just not a lot I could do to get these cups to open without a lot of internal manipulation (pushing the walls out and expanding the cup). Getting the cups out of the machine was another challenge They are so soft, when you grab the body of the cup it squishes, making it difficult to get a solid grip on it. There are a lot of funky colors to choose from, but my favorites are blue and black. EvaCup, on the other hand, has the exact opposite issue, being In terms of width, the edge on Eva is thicker than that on Diva and the rest, but in terms of There is no question that this edge is very firm, more firm than the body which is much As a result, folding the cup and inserting it is more challenging. Although it helps with popping the cup open, I found that if I didn't have a really good strong grip on the cup, it would open before I reached the proper level. The cup could be felt and had to be removed and reinserted several times before it was high enough and in the right place for it to work. A funky collection of colors is also available for Eva A dual pack came with two different colors. Pink and purple were available. As a whole There are no bad or good choices, only that you have to pick one and then decide which one you like or dislike. Is it too firm or not firm enough, or is it You can go with Eva for a more fitted look, Athena for a softer look and somewhere in the middle you can go with Divina or Blossom. If you don't want to deal with Diva, then do anything but.

Adding and removing- This isn't bad at all! Since when do Diva Cups come out? I have been waiting a long time to get one
5/5

What is There were a lot of things that scared me Insertion and removal
Cups with blood in them - Having a menstrual cup cleaned somewhere other than your home is an overkill

First, insertion/removal is SO MUCH EASIER when you know the tricks! I am inserting 1
There are two types of insertion instructions included with the instructions. Here are the two I use most regularly the one you see and the one I use most often the picture for a 1) Place your finger on the rim of the cup, and then push it down towards the center, resulting in The top of the cup is now smaller than a tampon, making it easier for women to insert. I also think the cup folds correctly when it's placed, since it is now sized like a tampon. Two additional points If your vagina has a shape that concerns you, don't worry about it. You already know what to do if you have inserted a tampon. It's the same for relaxing your uterine muscles - It never mattered to me, so I never had a problem with it. 3
3. 2 As I said, it is impossible for me to check if a cup is fully expanded. As far as I'm concerned, I try to twist it as hard as I can, then I Specifically, you can feel the expansion of the cup just from the base, and I'm able to tell from this alone. There has never been a leak in my home. The removal of It was really interesting to see how this all came about. In the first couple of days after my removal, I felt like I had just birthed a lime-sized By no means should you be frightened by the suction. My navigation of the USS Menstrual Cup was seamless as soon as I figured out what I was doing. Can you tell me what the trick is? Get it out of here. That's literally true. In the first instance, when I tried to take out the cup, I thought I'd been forever lost to the sea of a woman's As soon as I discovered that I could push it out, the stem would present itself beautifully. I am amazed! You still have to pinch the cup to break the seal, but that's the easy part. Getting the thing within pinching distance was surprisingly tricky for whatever reason, and I actually ended up fumbling with the whole thing! I'm not sure how else to describe it. ***** - It makes no sense to put blood in a cup. You'd be surprised if you saw how unappealing it actually Ensure you are prepared before you begin. It is likely that this will be unsettling if you feel queasy. ***** - Where and when? I love it that every 12 hours we get to see each other! In almost all cases, you are done within 12 hours. If you are not, find a private bathroom, take it out, rinse it off, and In one reviewer's comment, she says she does this in the shower every Exceptional talent. As a whole, this has been a fascinating experience. It's a pain to use pads! In the end, tampons turn your precious ecosystem into a desert! I chose the Diva Cup because it's not perfect, but it's still the best menstrual product I've ever used. A person who isn't yet ready to dig in their vagina is not advised to use this product.
