I love how convenient it is! Since my previous cup had become discolored several years ago, I wanted this to be an easier way to sanitize my new replacement cup before and after use
5/5

I am in awe of this thing! I had always avoided boiling my cup until just as my period started since it seemed like such a hassle to boil the water on the stove and then have to stand there for 10 minutes watching it not boil over, not to mention that my boyfriend was not too fond of There is also the issue of having to wash the pot afterwards. I didn't really look forward to it because all I was doing was routine. It's really easy to use this guy. I just toss my cup inside, dilute a little mild soap, and use my electric kettle to heat the water and pour it over the I can easily and carefully place the lid on top of this thing since it is deep enough to completely cover my size 1 diva cup. Keeping the heat in the container is accomplished by the lid having a ridge that folds over the lip of the container part. It will then sit for several minutes so I can go away and do something else while I wait. Cleaning up after using this article is a lot easier than cleaning With such a convenient sanitizing system, I can now sanitize my cup more often and hopefully stop the discoloration sooner. This is a great read!.

This is an essential for traveling or using public restrooms! In order to use it in a public restroom while I am away from home, I purchased it exclusively for that purpose
5/5

There was a video that explained that these cups are perfect to fill with water, dump menstrual cup contents, then place the menstrual cup into the cup with the lid on. Once both menstrual cups have been rinsed off, they can be reinserted. This cup is of excellent quality, and the price is ok (if your cup is not wide enough to hold a menstrual cup, you'd have to choose another one). I can wear this with ridiculous jeggings and it is the perfect size (small enough to fit in my pockets- Pocket that will fit a cup, but not much larger than a back pocket). Thanks for the great purchase! I'm very happy with it!.

This is a great buy! For my Diva Cup, this is the best solution
5/5

In the Diva Cup, the container is longer (or taller) than that in the Pixie Cup, but you can lay the Diva Cup on its side, and it fits perfectly (see It can also be used as a container to store my Diva Cups. Before using the Diva Cup wash, I clean the outside a little before placing it inside. I use the wash on both sides. I am very happy with my purchase!.

You will love it! Unlike when I expected, the cup arrived in a flat bubble wrap package a day earlier than expected

Although it was delivered to my front door rather than my mailbox, I'm sure it could have fit in? I'm not sure why they sent it to my door rather than my mailbox? It is easy for my neighbors to see I had a package since I live close by. That aside, let me continue. My opinion of the product itself is that it is great. I intended for the color to appear this way. This new silicone product has a soft silicone material, and the fresh teal blue adds to the "fresh and sanitary" feeling my brand is trying to convey. My initial thought when I opened this pixie cup was that it might not be able to hold water? The walls seemed thin and flimsy. In contrast, the lip of the cup is hard and thick, so you can hold on to it more firmly. You say the cup can be microwaved. Is that true? The water is great, but I would like it to be really hot. Then, I put my pixie cup under my Kuerig machine to fill with hot water after you ran the machine through a cycle without coffee in it. Once it was done, I placed one of my menstrual cups (I own two socks cups) inside the bag for five minutes without the lid. After removing the lid, I picked the cup up very carefully (since it was still full of hot water) and dumped the water out. Once everything was completely dry, I left it upside down on the paper towel to air dry. Being able to clean my menstrual cup in a discreet way is very important, as is having a product that's both discreet and can clean my cup. I feel confident that after I use the pixie cup, I can store my menstrual cup safely and confidently regardless of where I am. This cup has many different uses and can withstand a lot of heat, so I trust it to keep me safe.

Keeping my menstrual cup clean is easy and quick with this product
4/5

A careful eye is needed Microwaves get hot when materials are heated. I use menstrual cups both from a health perspective (less exposure to harmful chemicals from bleached cotton) as well as for environmental reasons (less waste compared to My practice was to boil my cup in a small pot of water for 5 minutes after each period Follow the manufacturer's instructions and let it sit for 10 minutes. Even so, sterilizing my feminine products has always been a bit of a process and I've done it early in the morning so my husband would not be seeing the pots we use to cook in while I was doing it. I have to say that this Pixie sterilizing cup is an improvement in every way. A very small amount of water is used Just enough to cover the menstrual cup by a quarter inch is enough for me. In order to save even more water, I shove the menstrual cup sideways into the bottom of the Pixie Cup. Once this is done, I place it in the microwave on high and zap it for about 1 minute. I will be back in five Just a little over that will bring the water close to Any organisms lingering in the water will be killed with enough heat. Then I let it cool until it's safe to handle and then I wash them both out. The project is complete. In theory, you can use the menstrual cup straight into the Pixie Cup without turning it sideways, but from what I've read, getting the water that close to the edge caused it to fill up quickly once it warmed up. As a result, I prefer placing it on its side and lowering the water level as much as possible for safety reasons. There is another option, which is to soak the menstrual cup in hydrogen peroxide in the Pixie Cup. I have tried this method after the boiling method and nothing bubbled or fizzled. Because the boiling was sufficient to remove any foreign matter, the peroxide had no opportunity to break down cells. Therefore, I would recommend either boiling or using peroxide, but it doesn't seem necessary to use both.
I would only like to warn you that the Pixie Cup material gets extremely hot when it's in contact with the water inside. Please take care when handling it after it's been heated. As I remove the Pixie Cup from the microwave, I pull up near the top to prevent damaging it. Silicone is an amazing material in that it is non-porous, safe, and easy to clean. The material is reactive and does not break down at very high temperatures (that's why you find it used as a coating for As long as that thin layer is in contact with very hot water, the Pixie Cup still gets pretty toasty when you take it straight out of the microwave! It is still far better than using something metallic, which would burn your skin immediately under the same circumstances. Thus, be aware of your actions, don't have unrealistic expectations of the materials, and use common sense when you interact with them. Therefore, you will be able to get the most out of your Pixie Cup and you will have a hassle-free period.
