I used to visit the doctor to have my ears irrigated because they tend to accumulate wax. What a pain that was all the time. With no trips to the doctor's office, these things work just as well, if not better. br>br>On a different note, my dog is getting into her senior years, so after her last teeth cleaning, I resolved to brush her teeth on a regular basis. The task appears to be simpler than it is, and it frequently causes her gums to bleed. After that, I had the brilliant idea of simply flushing out her mouth with water after every meal, so I use these bulbs, and it appears to be effective, and her vet seems pleased with the lack of plaque on her teeth when combined with occasional dental chews. br>br>However, it's important to replace these on a regular basis because mold will grow inside. I haven't figured out how to get the insides of these things clean. Are you rubbing alcohol on your skin? They're cheap enough that you can stock up on a few packs every now and then.
When my son was born, I brought the hospital's hand bulb syringe home with me. I wanted to get another after the first year because the nurse said hospital grade ones were the best, and I wanted to get another just for hygiene reasons. I bought a few different kinds of hand bulbs from local drug stores, but none of them had the same power and capacity as the one I got from the hospital. Until I came across THIS ONE, that is! It's ideal and identical to the one in the hospital. I purchased the two-pack to ensure that I had a backup. I have no desire to use that straw contraception that is so popular now to make my son's buggers sick. There's no need to do that when this hand bulb is powerful and effective at assisting me in helping him breathe better when he's sick.
They're useful for flushing them more quickly than using the tap's force. It's a must-have that's also reasonably priced.
These are the same ones you get when you have a newborn baby and they work great. When a puppy is struggling to breathe due to fluid after birth, I use these in my kennel and they work perfectly! This is an excellent purchase, particularly for mothers who require new ones for their children.
These are supposed to be 3 ounce bulb syringes, but the ones I got were only 2 ounces. I looked for and assumed I'd gotten the larger ones, and I'm disappointed that they aren't as advertised. Because they appear to be well made, I gave this product two stars rather than one.
It's a nice pliable rubbery substance. Simple to work with. It's only a matter of filling it up that presents a problem. I use one of the ear syringes, which are simple to fill but difficult to use and have a low volume. I fill the syringe with warm water and squirt it into the bulb opening while still in the shower. To fill the bulb, repeat this process 5 times. The bulb should then be gently squirted into the ear. Three people are required. I needed four bulb fillings to get rid of the wax clumps.
Sucking things out of the Baby's nose is a good idea. lol. as well as other applications I'm not sure about ears, but I wouldn't wear them. There are a total of five otolaryngologists in this group. My elbow, he said, is the biggest thing you put in your ear. If you're lucky, you'll be able to get it. lol.
These are the best I've found in terms of suction and ease of use. It may appear to be too large for your baby's nasal passages at first, but now that my child is older, it's the only one I'll ever buy. (The only drawback is the cleanliness of all nose suckers that don't come apart to clean, but I've also heard that they're difficult to use, so this is still a great option IMO. ).
