Selected User Reviews For Innovo Silicone Baby Nasal Aspirator and Ear Syringe Bulb
My goal was to use it to help remove ear wax from adults after removing ear wax with an adult ear syringe. Due to the fact that it is for infants, I thought it would have a smaller tip. That's not the case.
Having the little nose transparent is really nice I can see what is sucked from it. I really like that. In addition, the fact that it opens and can be washed is SUPER cool! It is sometimes possible for air to enter through the seal between the two components, however.
As I looked up at my four week old, he had a large booger in his nose. Is it my responsibility to do something? It was like a boom when I whipped this thing out. I was able to complete the job after two attempts. My favorite thing about this is that it is clear and can disassemble so that I can be confident that it is clean and that I got what I wanted.
It seems like the suction power isn't as great as the closed system, but I don't care since the fact that you can clean this one is awesome. It seems like some of the other product reviewers who criticized it said it fell apart were wrongly using it? In order to get the best results, nasal aspirators should never be squeezed from the sides, but from the base instead.
Taking it apart and cleaning it is great, and I appreciate that it is so sturdy. After using it multiple times with my little one, I was able to clean it thoroughly and use it In the future, I would like to get more. A small brush with soapy water was used to clean out the tip of the cap. It helped keep the cap.
Normal bulb syringes make me suspicious as I imagine mold might grow in the moist, dark environment of the bulb after it has been used. The seal breaks even when the water comes out of the tip, even if the water is used according to the instructions. Although the alternative is easy to use, it does not clean well.
I am impressed by the suction power and the fit between the two pieces. It seem to be strong and durable, but soft yet flexible at the same time. I plan on using it to craft resin instead of disposable syringes, but I'm tempted to buy several of them to give to friends and family who have infants or are expecting. My case came with a nice little fabric pouch to store it in, which will prevent dust from collecting on it.
I'm currently pregnant with my second child, and have ordered this product twice in the past year. It outperformed every other brand we've tried, and I appreciate the fact that it can be taken apart to wash!.
