Questions & Answers

Does a child can wear these and then put on headphones to listen to her tablet while wearing them?

While I am not certain, I would guess that it is It seems to me that these earplugs do not affect my hearing, so why should I wear them It should be all right.

Is it okay to wear them to the grocery store with a 3 month old?

While they are quite small, they might be too big for a baby to wear. The best thing to do is to buy one set and try it out before you go. There may be a Bed Bath Beyond nearby where you can purchase them.

After you land, do you take them out again, or do they remain in your ears while you are in the air?

For me, it depends on the length of the flight. I don't use this brand, but I think it is a very good product. The night before I take them out I put the capsules in about an hour before I'm out. The only time I leave them in is if the flight is an hour or so long. Upon reaching cruising altitude on an international flight, I will take them out for an hour and then put them back in just Also, I really hurt my ears when I wear this brand. For me, the only brand that works is FliteMate. They are smooth and provide a natural sound. My last pair of shoes were very comfortable, and I flew ten times without any pain. Without them, I won't be able to fly.

The girl in this picture is 14 years old, and I am unsure if the women's pair will be too small for her since she is 14 years old. Do the teens' jeans fit her just as well?

Since I am an adult and I use a small one, I am betting the smaller one will be best for her, too. They can only be used up to two times in the end, and then you need to If I were you, I would try them both the first time. I believe the relief they can provide is

It's a great gift These were bought for my five month old daughter for her first plane ride
5/5

She slept the whole way. I don't know if it was luck, or whether it was these that were to blame, but these definitely contributed to her sleeping through the whole flight.

Every time I fly, I use these! Both my children have been using EarPlanes for more than a decade and neither of them have shown any signs of discomfort while on planes
5/5

Initially, I started buying these after my son cried on descent for about half an hour as a result of pressure in his ears during a rough flight. A very nice parent on the plane gave us a box of EarPlanes to use on our flight home while we were waiting for our gate checked items. I could be naive and say that our children have not had issues with pressure in their ears since we started using these, but watching your baby in discomfort is enough to make me turn you into It is strongly recommended that you use medical tape to cover the ears of children and babies as they will try to pull out the earplugs throughout It is best to first put the tape on your clothing, then take it off and put it over their ears to reduce the sticky nature of the adhesive. As a result, it is a little less traumatic to take off the tape after the flight.

We were able to go to Disneyland because of you
5/5

My 9 year old son expressed no interest in attending Disneyland when I told him that we were going there. How is that? What's the reason? Last time he flew, he said that his ears hurt for days afterward. I knew that his ears hurt after a flight, but I did not know it had been so bad that he would rather miss going to Disneyland than fly again. I bought these babies after reading reviews after I read about them from my son's ENT for this trip. We gave him a decongestant and had him rinse his sinuses with saline before we left for the airport. Throughout the flight, he held them firmly in place. He was given gum to chew or gummy bears to suck on every time the plane took off and landed. During the return flight, our son only had a little minor discomfort during landing. I'm not sure how much of the discomfort was due to the earplugs and how much was due to the decongestant and sinus rinse. During the descent, he claimed to have heard a whining sound, as if air were My middle child did not wear the ear plugs on the outbound flight, however. She said it hurt having them in her ear (perhaps even the small children's sizes were too big for her). The landing caused her some pain due to air pressure. She decided to try them again on the flight home after her brother urged her to do so. She reported that they helped her ears feel better (air pressure-wise) than without them. She put them in only for the landing due to the fact that it hurt to have them in there. Despite the fact that I tried to keep them in, my 3-year-old wouldn't keep them in for a minute. As was the case with my older girl's ears, I suspect that they hurt her ear too. Only gummies were available to her, and she cried upon landing both times. In my opinion, she should be the control subject. I used the adult version and had some discomfort with them in my ears, but all ear plugs hurt my ear canals. Personally, I think it would have been much better for me if I used the smaller children's version. In terms of air pressure, however, I think they helped a lot. Please take these tips into consideration if you are traveling with more than one child The little plastic containers each pair comes in should be labeled with each child's name, so there is no confusion as to who's who. The labelled sets on our outbound flight and on the homebound flight were the same, so I was glad I had labelled the same! When the kids were sitting in the seats, I wish I would have practiced putting them in with both of them, because it was quite a task to get them in all their ears. There is a warning on the package that they will be okay for one roundtrip flight, but that they need to be replaced for future flights as dust and oils will degrade In my opinion, if you clean them to make sure nothing gets into the little inner filter, then you may be able to extend their life. It's likely that the seal will lose its effectiveness after a few uses, but with kids, it's unlikely you will achieve a perfect seal. The mess they make with them is.

The first time I flew without these is the last time
5/5

A small section of the following is taken from my review of the adult version of the game with a small section about I reviewed both versions, because I'm lazy, but the review below is the same for both. ) I'm in my late 20s I am in my 30s and have never been able to fly without ear pain going from a 5 to a 10 on a 10 point scale. Because of my smaller Eustachian tubes, the pressure in my ears does not always equalize as it would in someone else. The only way I could stop my ears from hurting was to have tons of gum with me, drink water as much as I could, open/close my mouth, yawn, etc. I was never completely free from pain. Sometimes all of this worked, sometimes not at all, but I was always affected by it. Having just returned from Aruba which involved three flights there and three flights back, I just have to write about my trip. I placed them in the first segment and they did not cause any issues on the ascent. I thought it was too good to be true so I waited for the descent to prove it. After we arrived at the gate, the guard opened the doors and I literally began to cry. My pain level was zero. I had zero issues. When they announced they were starting their descent, there was no frantic scramble to grab a piece of gum. Not one of those things. In order to be safe, I left the socks in for the entire flight every time. I used the same pair for all 3 flights there and a different pair on the way home just for extra security. With the pressure change, there were times when I could hear/feel my ear cracking, but I had no pain with that. After I extracted them, my ears were a bit sore, but I am willing to deal with that because I was spared the stabbing ear pains I am prone to suffer from. In our last trip, my 6 year old daughter started experiencing trouble/pain in her ears and she reported that they didn't hurt one bit. I bought the kids version for her. As well as those I plan to leave a review (although I may just copy and paste this review)

Get these, insert them properly, and enjoy the There is no restriction on free flight. You will never forget these experiences.

When you are flying with a toddler or a baby, you need these! You don't want to play with these! As a family with three children under the age of three, these products are ESSENTIAL for us when There is no pain in the ear at all
5/5

As a result I have to check them frequently as two of my children have tended to work their way out of them, but it did not seem to adversely affect their performance. My kids are playing on flights and my kids are not fussy as their children are. I now recommend these to every parent traveling with their child. If your baby won't nurse or take a bottle, this is a great solution! Perfect for toddlers who like to boss you around. My kids are like, "These are for no ear spots" and I tell them. . . The letter A".
