Is it possible to wash the protection filters as well?

You can wash them in warm soapy water if they become particularly dirty This is not the case, however If you plan to submerge the plug in water, remove the plastic attenuation filter first. veteran, I should know better, but I am desperately trying to find a solution to the wind noise I hear (over 35 mph) when I ride a bike It does not work as well as a 50* pair of foam plugs

The best thing I have found for reducing wind noise is- Wrapped around the helmet straps, these are also referred to as "cat ears. ". While they work better than these, they aren't perfect, and they also When I took one out, I realized it did NOTHING to keep the wind at bay. This makes me wonder (a lot) about the other reviews.

We have mufflers. You are still able to hear certain frequencies (? It happens occasionally that I can clearly hear someone talking, the TV, and so on. There are all kinds of pleasant little sounds you wouldn't hear with ear plugs, yet none of the loud loud bass noises that cause headaches or fatigue. You can hear the engine noise above the exhaust, or winds blowing over the "booming" rush on the highway. I'm not sure that they are clear enough for music or concerts. BREAKING UPDATE.

You will no longer be fazed by ear fatigue or pain while still being able to fully hear! It's always been a problem for me to find either overstuffed plugs that create pressure in my ears or loose plugs that fall out easily

These work so well! My soft top Jeep has roads with acoustics similar to a motorcycle, so I may get a second pair to keep in my vehicle.
