Questions & Answers

My husband is a surfer and I wanted to pick them up for him. Is there a size that would be best for a 6'3" 200 lb adult male?

- Son of my heart In addition to being 6' tall and 200 lbs, Law is also 5'10" in height. It was a guess, so I ordered him a large and they fit! Hope they work out for your guy as well.

was wondering what size I should order for a 6 yr old boy who has tubes n would love to try these tubes. I was buying silicone ones from Walmart in putty shape. How might I go about getting the right size?

The boy I am writing about is six years old It was the small/medium he had previously messed up. Measuring really is the best way to go. It is still possible for him to wear the smaller ones, but the medium ones fit him It's probably best to go with small or medium. I would say that it's somewhere in between

Do these have to be used just once or can they be reused?

It is reusable. These products have been a part of my life for months or The only time I wear them is in the shower since the water drains

The XL no holes ones fit really well and work great
5/5

I still shower though since they are not waterproof. Water getting in my ear is a major problem for me because I have a ruptured ear drum. I have worn ear plugs for a number of years. Originally, I had Docs Large size ones and they were not the right size. I then bought ones with holes in them (idiot doctor recommended) but they got wet with sweat. In spite of that, I still use a very snug shower cap to help while I swim. I wore these XL no holes ones for most of the week. They work well for me. In case you dive or go deeper, a little bit of water will find its way into your ear, but they are fantastic for swimming * * ** I believe the puddy is worth $1. The $2 ones are probably safer for keeping out water, but there is a risk of getting stuck in the ear and they are only good for one For swimming in the ocean, I usually opt for the Puddy swim fins. Please don't poke your ear too deeply, or you may end up with an ear infection. *If you have trouble with the documents, try another size and use the paper that does not have docs This is the first hole. The more important thing is to keep your ears dry as opposed to hearing. In order to ensure my ear is completely dry since I have a hole in my ear drum, I try to take breaks between swimming activities a couple of days a week. Besides using cotton balls in the shower, I also use them to brush my teeth. As a child I had ear infections that affected my swimming ability, so I recommend everyone to use ear plugs. Getting an ear infection is horrible, especially if it impairs your ability to hear and swim. The best ear plugs of all are the ones Doc should have given us.

The program seems to work well
5/5

It is not me who wears these, my 9-year-old son He was recommended to swim with them by his ENT after having ear tubes placed. A pair of glasses I bought at the ENT office cost twice as much as the glasses I bought at the store. He's getting enough socks so I ordered 3 more pairs to make sure he has plenty We want to keep a close eye on resident camps in case any go missing. Savings of over half a hundred dollars! The sizes to be used by you for your needs are unclear My son had it done by one of the techs at the office. I find these to be very easy to put in and remove. They don't hurt him, but it takes him a few minutes to adjust to them when he's wearing them, so if you put them on a child, I would make sure the child has time to get used to the feeling after putting them on. It is very easy for them to stay in place. He says they are still in his ears, but there is a bit of muffled sound. I like the blue color, since I can easily see if they are still in his ears, and they are easier to spot when he drops them on the sand. My ones from here arrived in a small plastic tin (like an Altoids container) that I can store them in. When I purchased them from the ENT, they were in a little plastic baggie (bought from the ENT). I was pleased to receive a nice surprise. The directions state that alcohol should be used to clean well- To dry them, I just pour some rubbing alcohol in a cup, dip, swish, and wrap them in a towel. It appears they will last a long time, but he will outgrow them in no time.

The item will not be accepted for return
3/5

A friend of mine bought these for his grandson who had just been fitted with tubes. We purchased these ear plugs at the recommendation of his ENT. The child is about to turn 4 years old and weighs 30 pounds, so I read the questions and reviews about sizing and decided on the x small, but the will not stay in the ears as they are too small for his small My plan was to return them, but I am unable to do so. Also, buyer beware. After ordering them, I found out they are sold in his office at a cheaper price than what Amazon is selling them for.

It is my favorite brand
5/5

After losing my first set, I was forced to purchase a second set. The products are essential to my swimming during all three of my swimming sessions each week. The canals in my ears are sensitive to water and if I get water in there, I am instantly sore. I normally swim between 2500 and 3000 yds. I've been using ear plugs for over four thousand years and have never had a leaky plug. I purchased a set for my 4 year old (with the tie string) so that he can wear them for swim lessons since he has the same sensitive ears as me. Since then, he has developed a love for swimming. You can see them pop out of the water if you jump into it or bobble up and down in it. The problem was solved by putting on a swim cap for him. This is a highly recommended book.

It's not a good sign! To begin with, I must be able to fit their size! I have normal ears that are size M, but when I purchased M before, it was much too small and then I purchased the L Size, and still didn't fit! When I had an ear infection 3 weeks ago, my doctor recommended that I use earplugs when taking a shower or going for a swim
3/5

I used this L size earplug for swimming and there was excessive water leakage! I am getting sicker, and it is making it Using silicone ear plugs from Walmart for $3 a piece and they work perfectly. No leak, no pain whatsoever.

The moldable pieces of garbage with holes let in a lot of water
5/5

For the first time, I wore them to take a shower and immediately felt compelled to write a review. Since I was no longer wearing those moldable ear plugs that go over your ear opening (and they aren't all that reliable by the way), I was able to dispose of them. They're 1000x better than those! As a result of cholesteatoma in my teens and a couple of ear surgeries, I cannot plug my ear with water for the rest of my life- or I will suffer from vertigo and find it difficult to maintain It never felt comfortable for me to wash my hair too close to my ear or else I would risk water getting in. I always had a patch of dry skin above my ear because I felt too uncomfortable washing my hair too close to my ear. Today is not the day! Despite their small size, these plugs did not impede airflow in my ears at all. Because they provided such a tight seal, my eyes began to hurt a little when I took them out. Therefore, it gets four stars for comfort. However, it did an excellent job at keeping my ear dry, and I am extremely grateful for the price! I am a 23 year old female It was actually for ease of maintenance that I had my ear canal widened a bit- I found the Medium size to be just right.

These were given to me by an ENT, and I love swimming in them
4/5

These were given to me by an ENT, and I love swimming in them. Unlike gray speedo ear buds, the earphones form a snug seal and fit completely within the ear canal. They are not affected by a bathing suit and are comfortable for a long time. In response to my order, I received I bought these for my 3 year old daughter and they were much too small for him. If those were mine, I would suggest they would fit a child who is less than 1 year old or who has One could fit into a small, I think The medium 3-year old is 2 years old How long has it been? You can check the sizing for free by ordering a kit Refunds or exchanges are not possible for this item! The fact that they were marked down was not known to me at the time.
