Ketostix is a Ketones supplement, whereas Keto-Diet is a Keto-Diet supplement. Diastix sticks contain criteria for measuring both ketone and glucose levels in urine.
As the male dog urinated, I kept the strip under him.
Glucose br>Diastix Reagent Strips for Urinalysis br>Box number 2806
I buy the glucose strips without having them tested for keytones, so the 2883 number isn't printed on the box. When I purchased this glucose/keytone strip, the box only had the number 2883 on it.

My dog was diagnosed with diabetes a few months ago, and I've been monitoring his insulin levels using these as directed by the vet. They've done exactly what they're supposed to do. The results were consistent when I compared them to readings from my dog's blood glucose meter. BUT. Then, as of the most recent batch I received, they ceased to function. For a few days, all results were negative. We had no choice but to rely on the blood tests, which yielded a variety of results (not all of which were negative). I tried a test from a different batch (that I bought somewhere else) and got the same results. My dog's urine doesn't seem to register on the strips any longer. I'm not sure why, so I went to my veterinarian for an explanation. He couldn't explain what was going on and simply told me to go by the blood meter readings. Also. human urine was used to test the sticks. They appeared to be in good working order, so I'm not sure why I can't use them anymore. They worked perfectly and accurately during the time I used them. If they work for you or your animal, they're a great product; if they don't, I'm not sure why. If you get weird results like I did (multiple absolute negative results in a row, double-negative results), Checked with a meter to ensure accuracy), then consult with your veterinarian and stick to the blood test results. The sticks, once again, did not pose any issues for me and performed admirably. The issue was on our end, and we're still trying to figure out what went wrong.
We recently discovered that our cat has diabetes, and our vet gave us a few of these to test her urine, so I went to Amazon to look for them because none of our local stores had them in stock. The price appears to be reasonable, and they perform as expected. When our current supply runs out, we'll buy more.
This item does not appear to be what it claims to be on Amazon. The box has the number 2883 on it, which indicates that it was manufactured in the United States, according to the Amazon description. The item I received is 2883B, which is made in India and differs significantly from those made in the United States. It also appears to be an old box, so I wouldn't put my faith in it.
It was precise, simple to use, and well worth the money. To master, you don't need to be a vet tech!.
In addition, the bottle was filthy and lacked a seal. I'm not sure if all of the sticks are still in there or if these are still edible. The sticks are supposed to last 6 months once opened, but how do I know when they were opened? These are made in India, not the United States, according to another reviewer.
As a T1D, I'm always wary of having soda on hand. The glucose strips were said to be able to confirm, and when I tested them, they were perfect! It isn't designed for this, but it does the job. T1D hack is really cool.
The text is simple to follow. Brand recognition is excellent.
I went to the store and purchased another bottle, proving that the mildewed one I had was tainted. Disappointed to the point of despair.
