I bought these sharps containers since my syringes were going through 1qts too quickly. I'm pleased with how things are going so far. Although it turned out to be a little finicky trying to open the lid, the side-plastics did not sit very well when open, so the top does not stay firmly in place (almost In my dresser, it is shoved into a corner, where it provides what it is supposed to do. When you reach into the hole, there is no real guard, so if you do reach into it, you could end up in a lot of trouble. If you have dumped anything into the container, it's basically available to you.
You could use it to discard your daily diabetic shot pin or weekly insulin shot. You just have to dispose of the trash at a disposal site.
His condition is diabetes, which means he must take insulin multiple times a day. used to order these containers very frequently (smaller ones) and they would fill up quickly. These are much better (larger) so I don't have to worry about disposing of them as frequently.
