Twelve of these things weren't really needed or wanted around the house, but being that I take insulin and testosterone, something had to stay in the house. I was paying anywhere from $7 to $12 at stores in my area The prices for these individually range from $12 to $14 so $34 is a serious deal. I took one of these with me in the car when I had to drive from Texas to Florida in March because my dad was in the hospital. Since I couldn't fly, I just took one of these with me. I was able to fit it in a small space, so I did not have to take up too much room. You shouldn't worry about sharps floating out from it since everything that goes in stays in, so nothing ever comes out. My stay in those four hotels was eight days long. I stayed in two hotels while I was leaving and two hotels while returning. These have never caused me any issues since I bought them.
I began using these products 7 years ago since they were what I had available in my clinic. Despite its smaller size, the container can be used at home. As well as lancets and insulin syringes, I place other household sharps in them as well A craft knife, a box cutter, an X-acto knife A paring knife blade or an old ax will fit easily in the act. In addition, you can even get rid of disposable razor blades by sticking one end of the blade assembly into the hole, levering the handle, and snapping it off. On the top there is a penlet hole as well as an extra hole. Using penlets did not prove to be a problem, but it did not work with those either. In addition to clipping the needles off the syringes with the "BD Safe-It Tip", you can get about 10% more syringes into the containers. "Clip Needle Clipping and Storage Device" (Amazon link = It claims to hold I am still in the midst of my first one so I can't verify that.
Despite this, we have a diabetic in the house who disposes of all needles in these containers. The needles they handle are handled quite a bit and we don't contain ourselves about the beach picking them up.
The product came in its own packaging with a mailing label, but Amazon resold it for me A larger container is used for packaging.
See if you can get a better deal elsewhere. My wife and I got them at Bi-Lo The same price at the same store, but with free returns.
Why do I have to say so much? Xiao Xiao, these are the finest I've ever eaten. The needles are easy to remove from my insulin pens because of the size and how small they are. You can put the lid on the disposal to keep it You can save a lot of money if you buy in bulk.
Thanks to you, I have enough to last me my entire life. The price is great, and the value is even better!.
