Yes, you can use the OneTouch Delica Plus Lancets and Lancing Device with the OneTouch Ultra 2 Meter and OneTouch Ultra Test Strips.
Push the large white slider toward the green button with the end cap off if you're trying to eject it after piercing it. If the needle will not pierce, the only thing I can suggest is that you check the depth setting, which is the green wheel on the other end that shows numbers. Mine is set to five, but I believe it was set to three when I first received it. I hope this has been of assistance.
Yes, used lancets will be ejected from the OneTouch Delica Plus Lancing Device. Holding the lancing device down and moving the slider forward until the lancet ejects out is how you do it.
The One Touch Delica Plus (30g and 33g) and One Touch Delica (30g and 33g) lancets are the only ones compatible with this device. Other lancets, however, will not fit because of their different sizes.

There was no blood testing equipment available at the time. The lancets and devices were (and still are) brutal when they first became available. br>This is the first new type of lancet and device; okay, it's the second generation, and they've fixed what needed to be fixed (I've been using the first generation for a while - The depth gage would move if it was accidentally bumped, which was a problem. This is something that the new generation corrects). Designed to fit in the One Touch testing case, but it will also work in any case with a loop. br>It's true that you'll need new lancets, but it'll be well worth it. Extra Fine is what I use, and it's fantastic. br>I'm a clarinetist and a saxophonist who also works as a keyboardist. This device is very useful to my fingers.
I overpaid for this device, and it is poorly constructed. The removal cap used when loading a lancet no longer stays in place, and the plastic holding unit is coming apart, which differentiates the OneTouch lancets from other more universal brands. Save your money and get a lancing device that comes with some of the universal lancets, which are much less expensive and last much longer than the OneTouch.
It was a complete failure. When poking, I tried different lancets and different numbers, but it didn't work at all.
" Pro: Incorporate the lancet into the procedure. Close the door and load the truck. Pull the trigger on the gun. Ow! I'm dripping with blood. Get the test strip out of the cupboard as soon as possible! Oh, I shouldn't have eaten that. 4,3,2,1. . . oh, I shouldn't have eaten that. Now I'm going to go stair climbing. br>br>Con: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is not the place br>br>Tip: Breaks easilybr>br> Poke your picking hand if you play a lot of guitar.
My previous lancing device for my One Touch Delica lancets was notorious for sticking me too hard, and no matter how careful I was, I always ended up with bruises on my fingers. With this device, I haven't had that problem; in fact, I occasionally have to double-check to make sure it did something. This lancing device has exceeded my expectations, and if I ever need another, I will look for one similar to it.
The unit is simple to operate, and the lancet is simple to insert and use. br>Removing the tip to replace the lancet is simple, but do not turn the lancet to the left to open it, as this may cause the part that holds the tip in place to break.
This is a new version that replaces the previous one. Works ok. They included 25 of the new lancets, which are just not as good as the previous ones, so I had to turn it up to get a big enough sample, which was a little more painful than I like. I'm hoping this unit lasts a long time because it was quite costly.
