Note - I bought these from Amazon and had them delivered to me. I did not receive the blue US product; instead, I received a yellow box with Roche Germany markings (see photo). The box appeared to be genuine and factory sealed, but the lancets were slightly different - It has a unique cover. However, the lancet's body and metal tip are both the same size. The yellow box version (left) and the blue box version (right) are shown in this photo. br>br>Although these are usable and will be kept, two stars are deducted for not being upfront about the product's source.
The box I received does not appear to be from the United States (it has Arabic writing), it has been opened, tampered with, and taped multiple times, and it does not appear to be trustworthy.
It wasn't at all what I had anticipated. When I ordered the blue box, I got a yellow one instead. The lancets appear to be slightly different, and the package appears to have been tampered with. I'm going to limit myself to the pharmacy.
They aren't as sharp as the lances shown in the picture. To draw blood, I had to change the number on my finger stick to a higher number, which took three tries! This seller should not be purchased from!.
On the photo's box, it says 200 lancets. In the product description, it says 200 lancets, but if you look closely at another spot, it says. There are a total of 100 lancets in this package. It is, in fact, 100. For 200 dollars, I thought it was a great deal. However, because it is only 100, it is not a good value; they have the same product and number (100) for a lower price, and it is not returnable. I have the impression that you have taken advantage of me.
SoftClix lancets are displayed in a blue box in the description. These blue-boxed lancets are well-made and durable in the United States. SoftClix lancets were delivered, but they were packaged in a yellow box. These lancets are made in the EU and are flimsy and difficult to insert into the lancing device; I would not have ordered them if the description had stated that they came in a yellow box.
I expected 200 lancets in the box I ordered. However, only 100 were included in the package.
The cost is a few dollars higher than what I had to pay through my health insurance.
