Questions & Answers
Flower remedies have long been a part of my life. The outcome is not always predictable and is influenced by the individual and, in some cases, the severity of the condition being treated. I've noticed that sometimes I get almost immediate results and other times I need to use the remedy for a while. For example, I recently used Olive for exhaustion and continued to use it until the symptom was no longer active; keep in mind that a long-term chronic condition may require more treatment time.
Yes, all of the Bach flower remedies are vegan, as they are made from the essences of flower blossoms floating in spring water exposed to sunlight and preserved with a small amount of alcohol. Flowers are not animals, so there is no vegan or vegetarian label on the bottle.

The changes are so subtle that they are almost imperceptible. I was very interested in learning more about these flower essences and their supposed effects. I had nothing to lose by trying a few drops per day (as directed) because Wild Oat fit the bill for my state at the time. After a few weeks, I began to notice that I had changed. I was amazed at how focused, energized, positive, and productive I felt after being all over the place about which career path to pursue and what decisions I should concentrate on. The transformations are so subtle that they almost go unnoticed. The positive effects are only realized when you take a step back and think about them. This is something I would advise you to try. It gets even better. If you do your research, you'll discover that flower essences can be used to make a variety of changes in your life; all you need is an open mind.
I'm a big procrastinator who takes a long time to complete tasks in general. Hornbeam has completely changed the way I think about things. It forces me to concentrate on the most important tasks at hand, and I no longer have that dreary "ugh, I'll do it later" feeling. Instead of putting things off and returning to them later, I find myself tackling things I've been putting off for days and weeks, as well as simply taking care of immediate issues that arise. This essence aids my productivity as well as my confidence, as I feel better about myself as a result of my increased productivity. I didn't think it would work, but it did! And it works well, but not overtly—you won't get a caffeine-like energy boost, it won't interfere with your sleep, it's just a very subtle motivation and drive that you were lacking before. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it works for me and I highly recommend it. Since starting to take hornbeam, I've been incredibly productive both personally and professionally. The other bach essences I've tried have been equally effective, and it's nice to have something natural that doesn't have any negative side effects. Thank you very much, Bach Flower! 🙏.
For my confidence issues, I'm combining this with the Bach Larch remedy (since Larch is for self-confidence). Cerato is for indecisiveness, and esteem/confidence is for esteem/confidence), and the combination is quite useful. I've noticed a shift in the way I go about things.
For me, it was successful. I bought this on the spur of the moment after my sister recommended it. For the past six months, I've been looking for work. I've been using it since it arrived a little over two weeks ago. I wrote my intention on my water bottle and put two drops in it, then drank it throughout the day. I needed clarity and a sense of direction. I was finally offered a job last Thursday, which I gladly accepted. My sister asked, "Tell me about that golden oat?" I hadn't even considered the essence. "br>Was it that, or was it something else? I'm not sure, but I'm confident in my decision, which is something that doesn't happen very often these days.
It is something we use frequently, and it is effective. My family is currently using it to stay focused while working from home and attending school. It has aided my son in overcoming difficult moods and stress brought on by distance learning. If you've never used bach flowers before, you might be confused about how they work. This is subtle, energy medicine, so you won't notice an immediate change in your motivation and drive. Instead, you'll notice less resistance to whatever thoughts and behaviors are keeping you from moving forward over time.
This is something I would strongly suggest.
I'm concerned about the authenticity of the package I just received. There is a difference in the labeling. All of the ones I've seen in local stores and online have the names of the symptoms you're trying to treat on them. For example, under Mimulus, along with the size, it should say "Face your fears," but it doesn't in my case. The flower's name is all that is said about it. My bottle of Scleranthus and Cerato is the same way.
I thought it was a gimmick and irresponsible. Years later, I went back to them because I've been dealing with some residual emotional trauma that medication and therapy haven't been able to resolve, and these really do work. br>br>I'm having a hard time finding and staying on a path. I used to get so frustrated thinking about all of the different paths I could take that I'd do nothing. This, I suppose, is excellent for overcoming analysis paralysis. I get more clarity about my career path when I take this remedy on a regular basis.
