I like the smell of this high quality brand, but it is not genuine The information here is excellent
5/5

If you are going to use a therapeutic product such as this, you need to use one from a reputable brand, just like NOW. In fact, I did find out after buying this that juniperus virginiana is not a true cedar but rather a juniper, and that we commonly refer to it as a cedar in the West. Similar in some ways, but certain species might be better suited for specific applications, so maybe read up on it before blindly relying upon the big print. Fashioned ketchup style), and flinging your oil in any direction but where you want it. Make sure you don't look into it! These oils are all potentially hazardous, many of them will permanently harm your eyes they will all make you regret not taking better precautions. It is best to use a separate glass dropper for precision and.

Please DO NOT use this product to repel CAT fleas
5/5

An essential oil of Cedarwood of good quality There was a mild scent, however it was potent* As you can see from the title, I bought it for experiments for cat flea repellent, which I do not A NEW UPDATE 1/2 tbs of brewer's yeast daily over a period of one to two weeks The grain free kibble in 1 1/2 cups & the dry food in 1 cup There are no fleas here! For the first time ever, I have found a natural method that works I love it, and the cats love it too! Please see my lemongrass oil review, which I have pasted below, for a discussion of why all oils did not work as flea repellent. [I purchased this lemongrass essential oil because I had read several claims that it could be used to treat fleas on cats and dogs. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS ON CATS I have been experimenting with essential oils for fleas on my cats and I can tell you that, to my knowledge, I have not found one that effectively repels fleas without causing adverse reactions. In contrast, the fleas remain snug in their fur, as they scratch themselves from an allergic reaction. The collars I put on them did not work to prevent fleas either since it was too hot, and they hated it. However, I put it on anyway for about 4 weeks with a variety of different essential oils, and it did not prevent fleas at all. It absolutely did not contain any flea-eliminating properties when I tried the combination of Cedarwood oil and lemongrass essential oil, as recommended by a few sources on the internet. During the month I experimented with this, I noticed many interesting results. I'm happy to report that the cats are doing It is always a good idea to start very small when experimenting with anything and work up, because that is the general rule of thumb when it comes to remedy trials. As you can imagine, even very low doses, such as a drop of essential oil, are extremely potent. Luckily, I haven't personally experienced a potentially deadly dose of essential oil. If an oil or other application has been ineffective or harmful, wipe cats fur with a damp paper towel to remove it. This is just to point out that I see many posts on the internet that state what essential oils can be used for, but there is very little mention of how to use them or what dosage to use, so I had to experiment and find out these things myself].

It acts as an insect repellent
3/5

It was a disappointing scent for me. The smell of Lane Cedar Chest does not come close to what I expected. Reviews stated that this was the top rated oil and seemed to have an intense cedar fragrance. However, it is unclear whether any essential oils can truly replicate the scent. In addition to insect repellant use, I bought these for my family A lot of ants come to our house. I hate this so much. Specifically, I will spray the ants as well as the floor area where they reside. When I tried it a couple of times on a harder spot, it worked. The insect repellent is made entirely of natural ingredients, which makes it outstanding. The fruit flies kept coming back even when I tried to get rid of them during the summer. They would spray me and the cabinets where they would lay to try to keep them away, but they kept coming It is unknown if other insects do the same. Insects and bugs are fascinating to me, so I am not afraid of them except for ants, mosquitos, flies, and hornets. It is okay for me to leave If you would like a great woody fragrance that is not very woody and that is all around fragrant, which smells great, then rosewood is the way to go. Definitely a great smell.

The oil here is real, aromatic Virginia cedar wood This plant repels fleas (a kind of juniper)
5/5

As the humidity rises in the south, I rely on this to keep pesky, biting critters away. It works like a charm. Lastly, I don't need to buy flea control products as often when I use this on my dog. This is not an Indian product, nor is it from Atlas or Texas cedarwood, which offer no advantages over this. As the name implies, this is a plant that belongs to the Juniper family. You can check the latin name to make sure, since the Now brand offers all 3. The scent is crisp and clean.
