The price per ounce seems to be higher than it used to be. It's not uncommon for Amazon shows to be incorrect. If you fail to pay attention and do the math yourself, it can be very misleading.
A resounding yes! The repellent has been used to keep rats, mice and other rodents away from my home. The Peppermint Oil is put under counters, in closets, pantry, access holes, etc. with a piece of wood or cotton balls soaked they will repel dirt. My efforts worked well once I got the main family caught and disposed of, then I used Peppermint and other Ess oils like Clove and Eucalyptus to repel them.
As far as the difference is concerned, there is none

During this winter I noticed evidence of mice in my pantry. However, when I cleaned it all out in the summer it felt like a terrible horror movie. As well as using stainless steel scrubbers generously to fill or at the very least reduce the numerous holes for plumbing and electrical wire, I cleaned the pantry with bleach water before spraying this peppermint oil solution with two caps of water per 12 oz. on every surface. Several mice sent scouts to investigate if it was safe to go out again the next night Using peppermint spray and cotton balls soaked in 100% peppermint oil, I fought back at precisely those points. The mice made only one more sortie, to which I responded by strengthening the cotton ball and spray assault. Eventually, the mice gave up and It's likely that they will try again if I let my guard down, so I'll be replacing the cotton balls and spraying every few weeks until the winter is over to be sure I'm as prepared as possible. There will be no defeat for me! You can keep this pantry for yourself!.
I have bought (in a row) from separate Amazon sources, and the Peppermint is no longer as strong as it once was. There is a strange smell in the air. My mother used to buy peppermint from Now, all the time. It had an amazing scent, like what you would expect from a real peppermint There is no way I can make up for this. I am not sure if NOW just made a dumb decision, or if there are lots of bad bottles on the market. It's going to be tough finding a brand I like.
com is not a good place to buy this. There is something wrong with the bottle I received. There is something strange about it. For years, I have purchased peppermint essential oil from NOW brand, and it has always had the same great scent. I can't return this bottle because it smells funky, and now I won't be able to I am very.
An essential oil that is not pure.
My truck dealer recommended a solution to fix the problem. The mice have gained entry into one of our vehicles a third time and are doing significant However, he suggested that we soak an old sock in peppermint oil and tie it to something inside My solution was to purchase a bag of cotton balls and two steel mesh tea balls to prevent starting an engine fire. My mesh tea ball chain is attached to a piece of metallic engine housing by using nylon zip ties and two cotton balls inside. I soaked the cotton balls in essential oil after placing them in the mesh tea balls. Here's what I'd like to say One cotton ball a week should be soaked. I have a cardboard air freshener inside my vehicle that used to be empty that I have refilled As well, soak up the oil. Thus far, everything seems to be going well. I like the smell of the interior of my truck. A garage has been set up for the truck. Although, as the weather gets colder, it remains to be seen if mice will nest.
Peppermint flavored with this brand has been a favorite of mine in the past. I was so overjoyed with the fragrance of the NOW brand that after purchasing a cheaper brand that didn't have a strong smell, I decided it was worth it to purchase it again. Whether this is a knockoff of the NOW brand or if something has changed, I have no idea. A strong smell of something is coming out of it, I'm not sure what it is, with a faint smell of Peppermint oil is used in my RV to ward off rodents. This brand has worked in the past to deter rodents. However, I am not sure what the ingredients in this bottle of peppermint oil really are. It is not up to my standards and I will not be purchasing from it again.
I wish I had read them. My previous 1oz bottle of this Peppermint oil was almost empty so I ordered this 4 ounce bottle of Now Peppermint oil to replace it. The first thing I noticed was the scent was NOT like peppermint oil when I opened it to refill the 1oz bottle (since the bottle does not have a dropper attachment). As I waited and checked again, I thought maybe it would affect the smell since there was a greater quantity. So, I put some in a smaller container and waited some more. It smelled like peppermint, but not After that I asked everyone in the house to smell the two and give me their impression. It didn't smell like peppermint at all, according to everyone. A member of my family commented that it smelled like molasses. A message regarding returns was sent to the seller, but I did not hear back.
Along with the NOW Foods essential oils, I have also used other brands such as DoTerra, Plant Therapy, Plant Guru, Kis, This is an awesome time to be alive. The quality of their oils is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. A strong scent is emanating from the original source of the scent. The company has a history of meeting quality goals achieved by their suppliers, and I have done my research and found this to be true. It has been great using my Peppermint Essential Oil from NOW in my diffuser and against rashes on my body. I use it as a nasal spray for nausea and it works like a charm! The recipe that I use for headaches and tension relief contains peppermint oil and is very simple to make. Put it in a roller bottle and you will see the results! (For this particular recipe, please dilute with a carrier oil and avoid the eye area completely. Its a headache relief blend for 10ml roller bottles*-*) The following oil is made from 15 drops of peppermint oil - Drop 10 drops of lavender oil or 10 drops of chamomile oil - To make this recipe, I like to fill the remainder of the bottle with carrier oil (Coconut, Sweet Almond, Sesame or Jojoba are my favorites).
