Questions & Answers

Is it safe to use cloth diapers?

It can be used with Prefolds as well as all-in-ones. There are no problems, and the child is doing well. We use it all over the house and when changing diapers, especially before naps and bedtime.

What is the significance of the number at the jar's bottom? B0140911U is the code that appears on mine. Is there a time limit on this product? It was only two days ago that I purchased it and received it. ?

My hunch - and it's only a hunch - is that is it a bill of lading; The heat would damage the product if shipments arrived after May and before September in the United States, where the company is headquartered; the same mark is on a similar product I bought five days ago at a local store. My thoughts on the subject. I would contact Burt's Bees directly if you require a more detailed response.

I USED TO LOVE IT, BUT THEY CHANGED THE FORMULA AND IT NOW MAKES ME NAUGHTY
3/5

Don't you hate it when you find a product that you love everything about it, from the texture to the scent, and it works wonders for your child's skin, and you've tried almost every natural product on the market, and then you reorder and it comes in a new package with a new formula that makes your stomach turn so badly that you never want to use it? br>br>Well, friends, that is exactly what has occurred, and it is incredibly disappointing. My son is now 19 months old, and I've been a regular user since the day he arrived! I like how thick it is and how well it protects his skin. He has never had a diaper rash because of it. Eczema flare-ups were also helped by it. br>br>The new scent is so nauseating that I don't want to use it and instead reach for another product. I used to enjoy the scent because it reminded me of babysitting or working in the church nursery when I was a teenager. br>br>I cancelled my subscription and put money aside for this product because I can't stand the smell!br>br>Missing ingredients in the new formula:

Drool, eczema, and baby eczema were all treated
5/5

Wow, this stuff worked in a hurry, almost instantly. br>br>My son suffers from eczema, which is made worse by heat. drool. It's particularly bad in the front of his ankles, where it becomes inflamed. scabby. If I don't use vaseline or oatmeal-based creams on it, he scratches at it as well. Because of all the drool, it gets pretty bad on his lower cheeks, chin, jaw, and neck. Of course, I try to keep it dry and use a vaseline barrier as often as possible, but it's still red and splotchy most of the time. Especially when the weather is hot. We're in Hawaii, so there's a lot of humidity. br>br>I use a vaseline or aquaphor barrier, Babyganics "Bye bye dry" eczema care cream twice a day, and if the eczema was bad enough, hydrocortisone cream/ointment or desitin, as recommended by the doctor and other moms. These things all worked a little bit, and his skin would look almost normal at times, but it wasn't 100%, and there were too many occurrences of rash or scabbing. Eczema patches have started to appear on other parts of his body recently, so I felt compelled to try something different. br>br>I decided to give it a shot, and I'm glad I did. It arrived yesterday, and I applied it before bedtime after thoroughly cleaning and drying all of the affected areas (especially his face and neck due to the drool). I examined him this morning, and his skin is completely clear. There's still evidence that he had a problem with his skin because the pigmentation is a little lighter, but the redness is still there. The swelling has subsided, and his ankles are clear except for a few small scabs. br>br>I regret not taking it sooner. I wish I could take before and after photos, but it's too late now, and I'm not going to risk his rash reappearing just for that, so I'm hoping this review will persuade other moms to try it.

LOVE IT
5/5

We don't have any children, but I do have recurrent eczema, and it's been very helpful. Prior to this, I relied on Aveeno's Colloidal Oatmeal, which is extremely effective at relieving itching. The Aveno's, on the other hand, did not appear to help clear up the skin, whereas the Burt's Bees did. br>br>I've also tried Aquaphor, but it's nothing more than an over-the-counter antiperspirant. I've read that petroleum jelly dries the skin, and since I stopped using it, I've noticed a difference in my skin. I've noticed a difference since using a mineral oil-based lip salve. Face cremes are the same way. Mineral oil will no longer be used by me. I'm sure petroleum jelly works well as a barrier on babies' skin. I save the tiny jars from various cremes, wash them out, and reuse them for other things. br>br>Not greasy and the jar is a very generous size. I put this Burt's Bees Baby Ointment in a small jar and keep it next to my chair so I can use it whenever I need it. Because a little goes a long way for my purposes, I won't be ordering again for a while.

Amazing! First and foremost, I'd like to state that I rarely write product reviews, but I felt compelled to do so on this occasion
5/5

Since the day he was born, my three-month-old son has suffered from severe eczema. Except for his feet, hands, back, and diaper area, his skin becomes rough, red, and bumpy. I tried a variety of creams and lotions that made him scream after they were applied. Then I came across this one, and he felt relieved right away. He didn't scream while it was on, and I was able to see results after just one day. His skin is just a little flaky now and then, but it's nothing to worry about. It's still a little rough, but the redness and bumps have vanished! It also has a pleasant aroma. I'm not going to use anything else until his skin improves, and I'll explain why. I just tried Exzema Relief by TriDerma Baby today because his skin was looking so good and I figured I'd try something different to help with the roughness since he's getting older and I was thinking maybe his skin was getting better as well. So I tried it, and he broke out in red bumps and started crying right away, so I rushed him to the bathroom and reapplied it. I know this is a long post, but this ointment is at the very least worth a shot if you're having problems like I did. This is a true review from a true mother. The only disadvantage is: br>br> Because it rubs off on your clothes, I always make sure he's dressed in his feetsie sleepers. Every night before I go to bed, I put it on.
