Questions & Answers
We put it on every night after he takes a bath. It takes time; there is no magic involved, but it is beneficial. Our 22-month-old son's skin is extremely delicate. Thank you very much!
My baby should use it three times a day, according to my doctor.
If that's what you're talking about, there's an expiration date somewhere on the tube. Otherwise, no; once you have it, simply apply it.
It took about three months.

His skin felt like sandpaper, and no amount of Aquaphor I applied to keep it from cracking made things worse. I went to Amazon and did some research on customer reviews, and it turns out that the reviews were correct, because this product did wonders for his skin. His skin improved in four days (as seen in the photo). When I give him a bath, I use this along with Aveeno Cleanse Therapy wash. I do, however, use a wipe to wipe his skin every morning and night and then rub a small amount into his problem areas, which are his face and neck. This worked wonders for us and our son, and we hope it does the same for you.
I bought it because of all the positive reviews and assumed that as long as I moisturized my son's skin, it would improve. It didn't seem to do much at first, other than dry out my son's skin even more, despite leaving a greasy aftertaste. I increased the application to two times per day, assuming I hadn't put it on enough. His skin became dry and red once more. I stopped using it for a week to make sure it wasn't a fluke, then restarted it after a week. His entire body broke out in red blotches a few hours after application, and his skin was noticeably drier. His entire face had turned a bright shade of scarlet. When I put it on him, he cried as well. After that, I washed it off and applied a sample of Aquaphor Healing Ointment that I had on hand. Aquaphor's petroleum feeling isn't great BUT 2 hours later and his skin redness has gone 80% ! While this lotion may be effective for some people, it was not effective for us!.
I bought this lotion and combined it with Cetaphil baby eczema soap, and within a week, his face was completely clear. I'm not sure I've ever been so happy! (The picture on the left depicts the first day of use, while the picture on the right depicts the sixth day. ).
It Actually Helps With Eczema! Excellent cream for soothing and calming itchy skin, as well as treating and healing eczema that has become scaly, raw, and inflamed. Cetaphil Restoraderm Eczema Calming lotion (adult and baby versions) was what I was using. There is no "active" ingredient in that stuff. And, aside from being emollient and moisturizing, it does nothing to help eczema-prone skin heal. I switched to this, which contains "colloidal oatmeal" as an active ingredient and is just as emollient and moisturizing, and my baby's skin has improved dramatically after just two weeks of consistent use! br>br>You might be wondering what colloidal oatmeal is. There's nothing to be afraid of. Oats that have been finely ground into powder and suspended in water, another liquid, or a gel are known as colloidal oatmeal. Colloidal oatmeal disperses evenly in liquids and gels. This oat suspension is easy to apply and absorb, and it has a number of protective properties for sensitive, irritated skin.
We tried Tubby Todd's all-over ointment on the other cheek to see which one worked better and took these no-filter before and after photos two weeks apart. We decided to stick with Aveeno because it was less expensive!.
This was given to me when my son had a skin rash, and it immediately relieved it. It's the best lotion I've ever used, so I keep buying it. It's incredibly hydrating without being greasy, has no scent, and feels fantastic. My skin is extremely dry, and I wash my hands frequently at work, so this lotion is the only one I've found to be effective. Despite the fact that this product is intended for children, I would recommend it to anyone with sensitive or dry skin.
My baby had the worst case of baby acne, heat rash, cradle cap, and possible eczema imaginable. His skin deteriorated over time until they all appeared at the same time. I started with calendula cream and aquaphor, which helped to control the symptoms but didn't completely eliminate them. Everything cleared up after three days of using Aveeno eczema therapy (balm at night, lotion in the morning). Thank goodness for that! Although doctors say his skin will heal on its own, those bumps appear to be quite frightening!.
I've had eczema on and off for about 30 years, but this year I had the worst stress-related outbreak, which lasted from August to September. My ankles, legs, arms, chest, stomach, and neck are all covered in a rash. I spent a ridiculous amount of money on every lotion I could find. Then, out of desperation, I bought this, thinking to myself, "welp, it can't get any worse. " "I began using it twice daily. My chest, neck, and stomach all cleared up in less than a week. Except for the hot spot breakouts (for which I have a prescription), my arms and legs were mostly healed within two weeks. This stuff has saved my life on numerous occasions. I'm almost ready to accept the fact that I'll have to watch diaper commercials for the rest of my life.
