I thought they were excellent! You didn't have to deal with an annoying film on your tender nips. Basically, it was just a cotton padding that soaked up the milk and got hard over time. Those were my absolute favorite, and they were super comfortable. It took them only a few minutes to switch What a horrible thing to see. The milk only stays in their system for a very short time. The result is that the vast majority of you will be soaked from head to toe. The idea of a working mother needing to use these while she works long hours is ridiculous! I don't think they would even make it half way through I could put in a pair of pants in the morning, wear them all day and never experience leaks or problems with them. They fill up and then form a soggy ball in your bra. The "coffee filter" material on top of the padding is uncomfortable when you're nursing, and removing that lining which seals itself to your already sore nipples is just problematic. The quality of the ones they used to make is so poor now! I'm so enraged at them for this! I'm so sorry about this! Those will not be the ones I use now. I still don't know which ones I will use. The money I spent on them was a waste, believing they were the same thing. This isn't the case. What a horrible thing to see.
The pros are The material is thin, flexible, and soft *Benefits As a DDD, I suffer from quite a lot of letdown, and they simply don't work When I wear my nursing bras at night without changing them once or twice, the adhesive on the back doesn't stick, and they get soaked when I letdown or if I wear them overnight.
This is necessary due to the fact that she breastfeeds. It is a pleasure to work with them. A big plus for her is the comfort and Usually, a replacement lasts for a full 24 hours before it needs Philips has once again provided a great product in the Avent line.
This product is rated a 2 due to the packaging and the fact that it isn't made to withstand heavy use The products are not intended to be used overnight. To be honest, I would use them simply during the daytime, when I could monitor them and switch them out as necessary. I literally have to tear the wrapping apart to get to the nursing pad, even though there's a flap that should unravel seamlessly.
They are better than the Dr Browns, in my opinion. I feel they are a bit bulky and the cotton is lumpy, so it makes me uncomfortable when my nipples are irritated.
My experience with breast pads has been mixed. I have tried several different brands, trying to find the best one for me. And so far this breast pad is by far the worst. In the same way as old maxi pads, they are packaged in a little plastic bag. The Medela or Lasinoh are much easier to open but are a lot more plasticky than these. In addition to being large and plasticky, the pads themselves are also very heavy. In contrast to the Medela, which makes hard granules when they get wet, and the Lasinoh, which just expands, these turn gooey and jelly when wet.
Breastfeeding has been my way of life for over three years (two straight off the bat Since I don't always use disposables, I have tried four brands over the years and these are my least favorite. Because of the way they bunch up so much, I constantly have a ball in my bra that either hits the ground or the item bunches, it can be near impossible to straighten it back out because it is the inside stuffing that is.
Soft and comfortable, they are made of a blend of cotton and polyester. It is pretty easy to keep them in place. There is only one complaint I have if the edges start to crinkle or fold, it becomes really itch. However, that usually happens only at the end of the night after I've had them for the entire day.
