The only reason I purchased these was because the title stated that they were lint-free. It's one of the lintiest, fabric-falling facial pads I've ever encountered. If you're just using it for toner or something similar, I suppose it'll suffice. However, I required it to be lint-free and not shed. So a cotton ball would have been preferable to this. I'm keeping them because I'm not in the mood to return cotton pads. I like how big they are, which is something I was looking for as well. I didn't want the teeny-tiny pads you can get; I wanted thick pads that I could borrow for free. I'll only use it for toner or other purposes, as previously stated. However, it did not fulfill my requirements.
I had high hopes for these, but after using them with micellar water or toner, I find myself picking little pieces of cotton off of my face.
Because there were so many in a pack, I had high expectations for this product. I wanted to switch out the other square cottons I had on hand. I, on the other hand, had my hopes dashed. This product is used in facials to remove cleanser, and it falls apart as soon as it comes into contact with water; it's also very thin, and it slides right out from under my fingers. I'm not a big fan of it.
We switched to this with a creme because my baby was getting diaper rash from the wet wipes. There will be no more shrieking from a cold wipe, and there will be no more sore booty.
They are used to dry my face after washing it and to clean up any splashes on the sink. They don't pill or leave cotton smears on your skin. br>You can separate the two layers by pulling them apart, but this will reveal the cotton fluff filling. If you don't fold it in half or something, that'll get all over the place. It's ideal for what I need it for, and the large squares can be cut into smaller pieces if necessary.
Makeup artists swear by the more expensive Shiseido cotton pads, but these are superior. Larger, just as soft, and unquestionably more long-lasting. One will remove heavy eye makeup from both eyes, while the other will cleanse the entire face.
Because these cotton pads are larger than standard cotton rounds, I really like them for removing eye makeup. I can cover both eyes with a single pad. I've noticed that their construction is delicate and that they can be easily pulled apart, which can be inconvenient at times. They are supple. I've bought it twice now because it's so gentle. I only need to use two of them to remove nail polish. 3 for both hands (3 if I'm removing a red or other stain-prone color).
