Although the bottles have the same upc, the listed ingredients are different, and it appears that the product has been watered down. The color and consistency are not the same. It used to be an amber color, almost like thick honey; now it's pale, as if water or who knows what has been added, and it's runny rather than shampoo-like. After taking a look at the new ingredients, I decided to give it a shot. Mistake! Baby developed a rash that covered his underarms, legs, knees, elbow, and buttocks. I bathed in the morning, but by the time I went to bed that night, I had swollen hives all over my body, indicating an allergic reaction. I'm glad I didn't get it on my face! And I'd never think of my child as having sensitive skin! I eliminated food by eating the same thing the next day. The only other thing I did was take a bath with this "new formula" soap and there was no reaction. I went to Shea's website and found other mothers who had gone through similar situations. This was never possible with the older, thicker, darker formula. Be cautious! I ended up applying an ointment all over my body for two days to get rid of the rash. I've attached photos of the color difference; unfortunately, the older bottle has very little left, but the difference can still be seen! I've also included the labels from both bottles, which have the same upc but differ in the ingredients. I hope this has been of assistance.
I did speak with a company representative about the situation with the different colors, as well as some of the negative reviews I've read about the lighter one. br>br>They, as well as the website, stated that due to the natural ingredients, there will be color variations. A negative experience, on the other hand, will be taken seriously. If you have the lighter one and notice something different, contact them and they will send you a return sticker. Give them the LOT and then send it back once you receive the return sticker. They will then assess the batch you have received, begin an investigation, and contact you. And I believe they will. br>br>However, they have not altered the product; color variations are to be expected due to the natural ingredients. They didn't tell me if they switched suppliers, and if that's the case, I'm sure enough complaints will force them to reconsider. However, I have a batch from the end of last year that is dark in color. br>br>In my personal experience, I bought this in a store and noticed a color difference on the shelf. I've ordered from here before, and the color has varied from bottle to bottle. br>br>In the past, I've always had the darker variation; however, I've found that the lighter variation is only slightly different for some reason; it doesn't smell as strong, but that's about it. That, I believe, is the issue that people are having, believing they are receiving a fake or "watered down" product. This could be the case or it could not; in any case, please report it. And no, I'm not employed by the firm. br>br>Apart from that, I've been using this shampoo on my LO for over two years. He has eczema and can't tolerate much, but this one seems to be working for him. Who knows, maybe the frankincense and myrrh ingredients are to blame. I'm afraid I'm only able to find it on Amazon these days. Otherwise, I'd strongly advise against it.
The seal on the bottle appeared to have been tampered with, indicating that the item had been tampered with. The product appeared to have been cut/distilled with something else because the consistency was watery and cloudy rather than the clear amber color and thick consistency that it should have been. There was also an "off" odor. The bottle on the right is the genuine article, while the bottle on the left was purchased from Amazon and appears to have been tampered with. Buyers should be cautious.
I'm extremely dissatisfied with the seller. Water has clearly been added to the soap. Which could expose my young child to a variety of bacterial infections. I know because the color isn't the usual golden brown of Shea Moisture's chamomile and argon oil. The top seal under the cap was also open, with sticky glue peeking out. So much soap is strewn about! It's clear that it's been "watered down. " I would never purchase anything from this seller again. I was extremely dissatisfied, not only financially, but also morally. It is simply incorrect. It's bad for your health to dilute your soap.
It's good to have a little bit of moisture in your life. I am your half-brother from a previous marriage. Chocolate skin that is dry and needs to be moisturized. )br>br>This oil is exactly what I was looking for. br>br>A light scent that quickly absorbs after a hot shower- and makes the ladies you pass ask, "What's that you're wearing?" when you're wearing your mask. "br>br>Wow, man! That was some really good stuff!" And yes. I use this oil on a regular basis throughout the year. From climate change in New York City to the Caribbean- This is my go-to massage oil and moisturizer for after a shower. br>br>There is no ash.
For the hair of my baby, I needed something other than Johnson and Johnson. I needed something moisturizing because he has the softest curls. Shea Moisture is an excellent company with excellent products. I like how subtle the scent is. Be aware that some users have reported receiving a watered-down version from this site. For that reason, I was hesitant to purchase from here, but my purchase turned out to be fantastic! I'm going to buy more.
Love it. I've been using it on my kids since they were babies, and we're still using it now that they're 6 and 3. It has a pleasant aroma. When I ran out of face soap, I used it on my face instead.
Since my children were infants, I've been a fan of this product. I still use it on them (my youngest is 9 years old). Their hair is soft, easy to brush, and has a pleasant scent after use.
