My five-year-old's cradle cap was treated with tar shampoo. It had been terrible! As a result, we didn't use it as much as we would have liked, and her cradle cap didn't resolve itself very well without a lot of manual labor to get it combed out. br>br>They gave us a sample of this Happy Cappy brand with our new baby, and after trying it for the first time, we noticed a big difference! This full-size product package was purchased quickly and is used on a weekly basis. Our baby was already adorable, but with his cradle cap in place, he was even more so. He certainly appears to be a lot nicer than Bay. This product has made our lives so much easier!! It has a pleasant odor and is effective. This momma has no complaints. br>br>I read a few reviews where parents complained about their baby's hair falling out and blamed it on Happy Cappy. The hair of newborns will be affected by cradle cap. It isn't the product; we didn't use anything with our daughter five years ago due to a lack of good options, and when we groomed her head, the cradle cap would pull the hair out. It's unfortunate, but it's a fact of life. I don't believe the newborn hair is particularly thick. rooted. At the age of two and three months, our baby's hair is starting to fill in with more permanent hair. He still has a few areas of longer newborn hair where the cradle cap hasn't had as much of an impact.
I ordered several Mustela products for some reason, and they appear to have exacerbated my son's rash. I'm going to keep doing what I've always done. The medicated soap WORKS, and the daily soap is also wonderful, but if you have a rash, the medicated is the way to go. My son's skin was always soft, but it became even more so after we started using the lotion.
