That is an excellent question! Parents told us that color helps them shop and choose products. As a result, we added pigment to the bottles while removing dyes from all of our washes, shampoos, lotions, and creams. The product inside the bottle is purple, but the bottle isn't.
Yes, it's perfectly safe to use on the entire body! I wash my baby with it and use it as a shampoo. It also has a wonderful fragrance. Just keep in mind that the top of mine was shattered when it arrived. However, it is still functional.

I use this baby shampoo to clean my eyes, hair, body, and CPAP machine. I use it to prevent blepharitis by washing my eyes with it. It adds shine and softness to my half-gray hair. It has a softening effect on the skin when used as a body wash. It's currently winter, and I haven't needed to apply any body moisturizer. I use it to clean my CPAP mask and hose. The lavender-like scent is more tolerable than the smell of baby shampoo. For geezers, this is a must-read!.
I always buy this brand of baby shampoo. It has a pleasant, mild scent and has never irritated the skin of my children. I also like how the dispenser's pump is designed. It's far more practical than a squeeze bottle in everyday situations. I will admit that getting the last half inch of shampoo from the bottle is difficult, but the convenience is worth it for me. This has gotten into my child's eyes, but he doesn't seem to mind. It was convenient that it came with an adhesive tape covering the top of the pump to prevent it from leaking during shipping.

The scent of lavender is absolutely divine. It has a wonderful scent. Even giving my babies a bath at night makes me feel better! But, really, it smells great, lathers up nicely, and is a great deal. Johnson's is one of my favorites.
This is a replacement for our Baby Magic, which I purchased. I chose this one because I was familiar with the brand. When I first smelled it, I was disappointed. This does not have a lavender scent. In fact, I was bothered by the odor. I returned this item and will not purchase it in the future.
