I bought this because my two-year-old daughter has eczema, and while you can't cure it (I wish), the fact that it's unscented, dye-free, and hydrating means it doesn't irritate it or cause it to flare up like scented soaps does! Plus, she had lingering cradle cap that I couldn't get rid of no matter what I tried, and this cleared it up in one day. Two times through the washer! It also leaves her curls so soft and shiny that I don't even need to use a detangler, which makes this hairstylist mama ecstatic because most detanglers are either scented (which irritates her eczema) or leave her hair greasy. I've even started using it myself because I suffer from eczema and have curly hair. I adore you so much! br>The only drawback is that my daughter loves bubble baths, and this one doesn't produce a lot of them. However, all of the benefits far outweigh that one minor disadvantage. I would strongly suggest it!.
I'm a pediatrician, and my colleagues highly recommended this soap, which we love for our 8-month-old! It lathers up nicely and leaves his skin soft and hydrated. It also doesn't irritate his eyes at all, which is a plus. From now on, I will suggest it to all of my patients!.
I have another natural shampoo that is harsher than this one, but I find it to be too harsh on my hair. Happy Cappy is a lot nicer, and it certainly makes me happy! Skin flakes have stopped appearing on my head, even though I did not get the medicated one. I didn't have dandruff, but I believe my scalp was too dry from using another shampoo. The fact that this gentle shampoo cleaned my scalp without irritating it was a pleasant surprise for me because I have very sensitive skin. Every two weeks or so, I wash my hair. In between washes, use homemade dry shampoo. I use Happy Cappy for most of my washings because it is gentle. But every three or four washes, I'll use my harsher natural shampoo, because Happy Cappy doesn't get all the grime out, and my hair wouldn't look clean if I used it alone (I work in landscaping and enjoy hiking). So it's no easy task to keep my hair clean! Overall, I'm pleased that this shampoo does not irritate my scalp and cleans my hair effectively. I'm still trying to figure out how to make my own shampoo, but for now, I'll make do with this and a harsher cleaning method at more infrequent intervals.
My son benefited greatly from it. For a two-year-old, he had a bad case of cradle cap. I tried a variety of products, but nothing seemed to work, and getting the flakes to lift up seemed to take an eternity. I'd take him to the doctor to see if there was anything else I could do. He was switched to a new doctor, and she suggested that I try this product, which she had read about and thought would be good for his skin because he has Eczema, so it was gentle and effective to use. I massaged it into his scalp and used a cradle cap brush to remove the debris, and it worked wonders. It was so simple to pick up the flakes. It was gentle enough for my son that he didn't cry or fuss while I was removing the cradle cap. He just sat and played with his toys while I was there. Anyone should at least give it a try, in my opinion. I was on the verge of giving up when I couldn't find the right product, but now I've found it. I will continue to purchase more and recommend it to anyone who suffers from cradle cap or dandruff. I, too, did not detect a strong odor. It had a very light scent. It had a pleasant scent, but it wasn't particularly potent.
I knew I had to get my daughters the Happy Cappy daily shampoo after trying the medicated Happy Cappy shampoo (and loving it). This is, without a doubt, the best I've ever seen. My child, who has always had dandruff, refuses to leave the house without it. Side story: she asked if she could take it with her when she went back and forth between grandmas for the summer; I told her no, just leave it at home so it wouldn't get lost; well, what do I find out a few days later? She has been sneaking both Happy Cappy shampoos into her grandmother's house. So Happy Cappy is not only mother-approved, but also child-approved.
My 8-month-old son has extremely sensitive skin, and it has made a significant difference in his breakouts! It gets a 5 star rating from us. So far, I've fallen in love with this product. We've been using it on my son for over a week now, and his eczema rash is starting to fade, and he isn't scratching nearly as much as before! I strongly advise you to give it a shot!.
I'm looking for a product that will work for an adult with a sensitive scalp and skin. There was no smell (which was fantastic!). ) and showed no signs of retaliation. When I need something else, I'll buy it again.
My grandson has eczema, and it became very bad while he was visiting me, so I decided to give this product a try, and I'm so glad I did. After just one use, the redness on his skin began to fade and he became less bumpy. I know it will continue to improve because he is still using it. I'll keep a bottle at home for all of my grandson's visits, just in case!.
