Questions & Answers
I have no idea why, but it completely dries out my skin as well as the baby's. It isn't as good as the Cerave hydrating cleanser for adults. Instead, I wash the baby with Burt's Bees moisturizing shampoo and body wash.
It just suds up a little bit - However, unlike a cream cleaner, it is not as heavy.
It doesn't have a scent, which makes it smell a little off, but for those who are sensitive to fragrances (like my son and me), this is a godsend!
It's a body and hair wash, not a shampoo. It also has a hydrating effect.

Our baby's hair is soooo soft after her baths, and we used to use scented shampoo/body wash, which was great as well. Pro tip! It's SO EASY to turn the soap into a foam soap, and it makes the washing process SO MUCH EASIER. I promise you'll thank me a million times if you use any empty foam soap bottle you have (e. g. g purchase method hand soap and then dispose of the empty container! ) and then fill it 1/3 with Cerave and 2/3 with water, swirl it slowly to mix it all together, and you're done! I promise it's simple to implement, and you'll never go back to the old method. It's the same soap, but because it foams up, you waste a lot less.
This baby wash and shampoo does not agree with me because it has burned the skin of my baby, who is only a few months old. I wanted to find a good product to help her after our pediatrician told us she had eczema. She also has very dry skin, so I wanted to find something that would help her. After conducting extensive research, I ultimately decided to purchase this product in the hopes that it would fulfill its stated purpose of moisturizing the skin. I read glowing reviews and was relieved to learn that this would be of great assistance to her. But, unfortunately, it did not work on her; instead, it burned her skin when I applied a pea-sized amount of soap to her face. However, after giving her a bath and beginning to pat her dry, I noticed some redness on her forehead. I ignored the fact that I had applied Cerave baby moisturizer because I didn't want her skin to dry out further. However, the next morning, I noticed that her forehead was drier, with redness and skin peeling. It appeared that the skin had been burned, which is something I've never seen before and which did not occur when I used other brands of products. I'm very disappointed and saddened that this product caused such a negative reaction in my baby. I had to stop using this product right away. I'm disappointed because I had such a negative experience with this product, which I would not recommend to anyone. I wanted to return the item, but because I only used it a few times, my conscience forbids me from returning it once it has been opened. I'm not a fan of reviews in general. But I couldn't help myself, so I wrote it in the hopes of assisting someone who believes this product will work wonders. THIS PRODUCT HAS TURNED OUT TO BE A NIGHTMARE FOR US. I HOPE MY BABY'S SKIN HEALS FAST AND RETURNS TO NORMAL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. (br>A depressed mother:.
As a mother of children with severe Eczema, I love the CeraVe product because it is so gentle on their skin; however, when I received this product in the mail, expecting to get what I paid for because it is so expensive, I received a bottle of CeraVe baby wash that had about 1/4 of the bottle missing, as if it had been poured out or was only half filled. It's a shame because I really like this product and there doesn't appear to be any way to return it. This is the last time I'll be ordering from here.
The only issue is that two of the bottles in the same box contain significantly less soap than the other two bottles in the box, which is particularly concerning given their high price. The product is excellent, but keep in mind that you do not always get what you pay for.
I had to go back and read the reviews on this product again, only to discover that another customer had complained about her child getting a uti after using it. My daughter never had another uti episode after I switched from Cerave to Dove Baby. So, if you're using this baby wash on a baby girl, be aware of the risk of uti!.
My youngest child has the most delicate skin of anyone I've ever met. Cetaphil, Avenno, and Johnson's baby wash were among the brands we tried. He got rashes from them all. I'll never use anything else on my kids than this. When I tried to go back to the yellow Johsnon wash, I got burned. Our skin is left with a nice moisture barrier. This is fantastic. I would recommend this product to anyone who has skin problems because it completely healed my youngest skin in just two days.
The fact that it is fragrance-free appeals to me. It appears to be a very delicate situation. It's convenient to be able to use the same product for my hair and body. I had the same problem as others with my bottle, which was missing about 2 ounces of product. (That's why I only gave it three stars. ) I ordered it from Amazon because I couldn't find it locally.
Normally, I spend around $70 on body washes and lotions. 00 (crazy), so I decided to look into other brands and options. br> I've always admired Cerave, and I was overjoyed to learn that they now offer baby products. br>The product as a whole is satisfactory. It does not irritate my daughter's skin, and I appreciate that it is unscented. ***Unlike the other reviews I read, my bottle was full, not empty. br>It was just below the word "new" when it was filled. br>cons: It has a lot of water in it. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be or if it's been diluted. It's possible that it's just the wash's texture.
