This cover was purchased to replace one that I had made myself but had recently lost. It's ideal for what I'm looking for. I'm a field engineer, and I keep field notes in cahier notebooks, which are inexpensive and widely available. These books are ideal for my requirements, but they aren't particularly durable in the context of my job, particularly when it comes to getting wet. The purpose of this cover is to keep notebooks safe while on the move. br>br>There are a few things about this cover that I particularly like: 1. br>br> I'm not very good at writing on handheld tablets/clipboards, even though I'm a field engineer. I absolutely despise writing on uneven surfaces. The notebook's inner covers are snug and cover most of the cover, ensuring that the writing surface is smooth and free of a vertical line running down it along the leather's edge. This is extremely significant to me. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br The notebook is securely encased in the cover. It must be worked into the pockets. This is purely a matter of taste, but I find it appealing. One nice (and very important) result is that it fits into the breast pocket of my high-visibility vest. br>br>3. There aren't any extra features, such as business card pockets and pen loops, that would bulk up the cover or make the writing surface lumpy behind the pages. (I'll tuck a few of my cards into the front pocket where the notebook cover fits, and I'll use the back pocket for other people's cards and receipts as needed. ) ) I simply tuck my favorite Tombow Airpress pen into the notebook at the top of the current page and clip it to the cover. The pen stays put (thanks to the Tombow's sturdy clip) and the page is marked all at once - There isn't even a need for a pen loop or a bookmark ribbon. 4. br>br> I don't lose notebooks very often - it just looks nice. br>br>I don't lose notebooks very often - it just looks nice. This is an excellent pouch. It's been a few days since I've used it. This width fits in my front pocket where I keep my journals. The credit cards inside will not fall out because there isn't enough room for them to exit the compartment completely. The pen, on the other hand, is clipped to the notebook's side near the spine. as small as possible Many notebook covers have a pen loop inside, but this makes it difficult to write on the left side when the notebook is opened. As a result, this is an attractive design. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> This one is actually better than the Coal Creek cover, which is more expensive! This cover is smaller, as you can see in the photo, and it fits into my front pant pocket. I wish more artisans would consider shrinking the size of their covers to the greatest extent possible!.

In any case, it's nice and flat in there. You could also just put one in there and use the other side for whatever else you want. The only thing that confused me was that the product pictures appeared to be very rustic and cool, but mine appears to be a burgundy color, and all I can hope for is that it develops a nice darker patina over time. overall: br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b This is a fantastic purchase that I would strongly recommend.
I love this journal because the quality is excellent. I've put a lot of wear and tear on it by carrying it in my back or side pocket for work, which requires a lot of bending of my knees and hips, but it has held up well since I bought it. Even better, when I opened it in front of a restaurant patron, the patron exclaimed, "What is that?" " She asks her friend, and she responds. "It appears to be expensive," she added. I believe I need to purchase one before the seller raises the price because of the positive feedback, as all sellers do. Also, for a change, why not reduce the price when you have a large number of customers?.
The work is well-done in terms of craftsmanship. It's a hardcover that will last for a long time. However, I should have paid more attention to the description. There's nothing in it when you get it. The only thing included is the cover. I like it, but I had to go out and purchase the inserts later. As a result, I wasn't able to put it to immediate use. If you're like me and want to use your purchase right away after opening the package, make sure to get those items as well.

This is an item that I really like. It was a little difficult to get the notebook in the first time I used it, and the first notebook you use it on WILL bleed some of the leather dye onto the notebook paper, so expect that. After a few weeks in the pocket, that should stop, and you can switch notebooks and be fine. Very heavy leather, durable, nice execution of the product, and reasonable price for what you get.
For my Field Notes, I needed something ultra-thin, attractive, and long-lasting. Some of the other covers had multiple pockets, resulting in a thicker product. I wish it had a built-in bookmark, but making one for each book isn't difficult. I've been carrying it every day for four months and am halfway through my field notes book, and it's still in great shape!.
