This appeals to me greatly. Exceptionally good. Very distinct. Made by hand Second: br>br>Second order: br>br>Second order: br>br>Se I've bought these tags twice, and one of the reasons is that they're stamped metal rather than engraved metal, which I prefer. Many other dog tags are made of engraved metal, and if you have a dog license or rabies tag attached to the same links, the name and phone number will wear off quickly. So, the previous tag that I bought was fantastic. It appears to be fantastic. It's simple to read the phone number. So when my other dog's collar went missing, I purchased one of these tags for him. The first order was one of my favorites. The 5's in my phone number were stamped so heavily into the metal on the second order that they looked like 8's. My phone number has three fives in it. So, unless the finder had 20/20 vision and didn't require reading glasses, there's a good chance the wrong phone number would be called if my dog ever got lost. And who wants to put their face up to a scared, lost dog to read the tag? This time, it was a bad idea and a waste of money. It's the font that's at fault. The seller gives you the option of selecting a font, uppercase and lowercase letters, and other options. This is a bad idea. I couldn't recall which font I chose the first time, and I didn't realize how significant a font change would be. The first one was fantastic. The second one is particularly repulsive to me. I'm not going to buy anything else in the future. I'd take a picture of the difference and explain what I'm talking about, but I'm not going to put my phone number in a photo for anyone to call.

The engraving is rapidly fading and is now nearly illegible. The first time we went to the beach, the rose gold finish was damaged.

But I can't speak to the tag's durability because it only lasted two weeks before the included split ring broke and the tag fell off, and we couldn't find it again. I was very disappointed, and I did not want to have to spend the money to replace it so soon after purchasing it the first time; therefore, I believe the company should either include a higher-quality split ring, or not include one at all.

So, my GSD has had one for about a year, and I've been waiting to see how well it's held up. It seemed perfect and bright at first. After about a year, it had developed a lovely patina and darkened the lettering, making it much easier to read. We bought another one for our other dog, and the results are the same. THIS IS SOMETHING YOU SHOULD PURCHASE!.

Overall, it's a delightful tag. br>After reading the reviews, I was hesitant to purchase, but it was the cutest design I'd seen, so I went ahead and purchased. The shine faded and some of the letters/paw mark faded after about 4 months of wear. br>I replaced the ring (key ring) because it appeared to be in poor condition.
