I had been looking for something similar to this. I wanted it to look like a custom-made piece of furniture with storage underneath, but I didn't have the time to do so. This was a brilliant idea. I contacted the seller, "John," and we talked about making a few size adjustments to ours, which he was happy to do because he builds them to order. He was extremely responsive, easy to work with, and accommodating to our particular needs. He finished the pedestal in a few days, sent me photos, and had it shipped the next day. It was a pleasure doing business with John, and I will be recommending him and his custom-built laundry pedestals to all of my residential clients. At my rental properties, I always use the top load washer in the pass. I'd like to try out a front load washer after I've purchased my forever home. Because of all the advantages associated with it, I'd like to add a pedestal to it. For the following reasons, I chose this pedestal over the accessories pedestals offered by each washer manufacturer:
1. Investing for the future. The pedestals with the brand name are not inexpensive. They usually cost $300 each, and I plan to spend $600 on a washer and dryer set. That's half the cost of this pedestal, but it'll break even when I get my second set in about 5-years. 10 years. These days' washers and dryers aren't built to last, and the manufacturers want us to keep buying them so they can make a profit and satisfy their shareholders.
2. All washers will fit on this pedestal as long as the overall dimensions are within the parameters. Another issue with the brand pedestal is that the manufacturer always adds their own design to it. It's possible that the difference is only a fraction of a dimension (27. Instead of 27 inches, the width is 2 inches. Brand A has a single "L" shaped latch in one corner, while brand B has a different shape of hole. Any of these issues could cause one brand of pedestal to be incompatible with another, making switching to a different brand of washer/dryer difficult in the future. If I want to save money, I'll have to stick to one brand. Even then, the manufacturer may change the design to make it unfit so that they can charge us more money. With this custom pedestal, you can solve all of these problems. I will have the option to change brands in the future if I so desire. br>3. Underneath, there is an open storage area. Some cheaper brand pedestals don't have storage; most do, but it's in the form of a drawer, and you're limited to the amount of interior space it has. The drawers of some brands aren't even tall enough to hold regular liquid laundry detergent. You won't be able to fit a laundry basket in it after that. However, beneath V, this pedestal created one large continuous space. two small spaces that are separated by a partition. Again, there is more flexibility in terms of what can be placed on the pedestal.
4. Maintenance is easier. Rather than having to remove the entire thing. I can crawl under to inspect or repair something on the back, such as the power cord, water hose, or clean dryer vent, for example. br>I'd also like to point out a few things about the pedestal and seller:
1. This is a sturdy and strong pedestal. It is reinforced with multiple beams and braces beneath it. I stand on the pedestal after putting the washer set on it to check the water valves in the back. This is a 185-pound weight gain. Furthermore, as long as the washer model does not have a shaking issue, the pedestal makes no noise.
2. John, the seller, goes out of his way to include a small jar of touch-up paint. When moving the pedestal into place, attempting to load the washer/dryer onto the pedestal, or even during transit, some color transfer from the protective blanket to the pedestal is almost unavoidable. Touch-up paint will solve all of your problems.
3. When communicating with the seller, John, he is very quick to respond. Instead of a custom pedestal, I went with a full-size pedestal. I didn't expect to hear from the seller because I assumed it was only for custom design. John, on the other hand, contacted me to inquire about the brand and model of washer/dryer I own or intend to purchase. He also requested photos and measurements of the area where the pedestal will be placed. This would give him the assurance that the pedestal as well as the washer and dryer would fit. That is something I did myself to ensure, but I understand that this is not always the case for other buyers. As a result, for some buyers, this is a good insurance policy.
4. It has a more elegant appearance and blends in better with the surrounding environment than branded pedestals. Overall, I am very pleased with this pedestal and the seller. I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a washer/dryer pedestal to do so. br>Thank you for taking the time to read this, John.

I knew I wouldn't be able to use manufacturer pedestals when I bought my machines. We thought about making our own. When I discovered this, I decided it was worth letting someone else know about it. br>This pedestal is ideal because it fits four litter boxes beneath it and gives the cats more space. It raises the machines so that you can see inside and get the last few clothes out without straining. These were issues I was unaware of until I purchased two front-loading washing machines. br>I'm really happy with how it turned out. It was a pleasure to work with this company. To ensure that it would fit, he requested photos and measurements. It was also a great idea to include shipping in the price. There's no need to stress over finding a delivery truck.

I recently purchased a new home and a Maytag washer/dryer combo. Maytag no longer made risers for the model we purchased, and we had a limited amount of space to work with.
