Our family has been trying to eliminate as many paper products as possible, like paper cups, paper plates, and paper towels. Well, at least it's a start. Anyway, I was very curious to see how well these would withstand spills and other situations. I am of the opinion that they are excellent. It seems to be organic material and that the size is reasonable. Since these were 3 pack, I was able to use them just as if I were reaching for a paper towel. As a dust rag, I used it on counters, dried hands, and yes, I used it to wipe down counters. As far as paper towels go, they are on the thin side and about as absorbent as a paper towel. It can collect dust really well. In fact, I prefer these over a paper towel because they don't scratch the ceiling.
