According to my understanding, it depends on what you are cleaning For about a week, I keep them in a wire basket in the kitchen "dirty" until I wish to wash them. I also wipe the stove and counters with them. I have not experienced any odor.
There is no lint in these towels.

However, it does not seem to have affected their durability as of The napkins are soft, absorbent, and a good size. I have been using them as wipes on the counters and as napkins for eating. don't smell of mildew at all (unlike my thicker cotton towels) because they are thin and dry quickly. Following use, I rinse the dish towels with hot water, then throw them into the laundry basket after using them for a couple days. I really like these and I have already recommended them to some of my friends, despite my disappointment at first because of the uneven edges.
My wife bought these to replace paper towels and they are great. I've washed them a couple of times and they still hold up well. They look brand new all of a sudden after soaking in warm water with some oxyclean and soaking them for a little while. I've used them on grease and other tough stains. These are beautiful and I would feel very comfortable giving them out at a dinner party – maybe even a tiny bit cocky.
I was only using 1/3 of a roll of paper towels in the last two to three months, so I think it's going to save money and reduce waste. Place an order for.
To have a few of these around is a good idea. The absorbency of the material is excellent. Although they shrank in the dryer a bit, it wasn't significant enough to cause me concern. While I thought I would use the cloth towel more like a paper towel, I realized that occasionally I have cooking smudges on mine that I would like to throw out with the paper towel, which of course I would not want to do with a cloth towel. In my opinion, I prefer these to paper towels as much as possible - it cuts down on my paper towel usage.
Having just received them, they seem to be what I'd anticipated. We hope to use more reusable towels in the future.
It has been a few years since I used these and I love them. There are a few that are beginning to wear out, but I know I can compost them and know that I've prevented the production of a massive amount of paper towels.
Instead of paper towels, I keep these in my kitchen sink and use them frequently for hand washing. My small rack is draped with a few of them They dry quickly, so I can reuse several throughout the day, and then throw them in the wash at the end of the day. I have used WAY fewer paper towels since I started using them!.
