Although they don't feel snug on the bottom of my foot (which has a medium width, not wide, not narrow), they aren't floppy either. The heel does not slide up and down. There is a lot of room for the toes on the bottom. Despite feeling like my foot is protected, it feels barefoot like with some soft padding in a concrete world. It is comfortable to wear. These are freestyling shoes with no agenda, and I like this. It was just today that I got them. The earliest estimated arrival date is a week before they ship, so they deliver the goods ahead of schedule. To make trips to the mailbox easier, I ordered the slippers as shown in the picture with a suede sole. There is no need to break into these slippers they fit like a glove immediately. And the wool is buttery soft. Aside from that, I have no itch at all. There is something so charming about the slippers due to their slight imperfections. Despite being super thick, the wool still feels thin to the touch. It is a cold day in January, so my feet are toasty warm as I sit on the patio wearing no socks. Exactly what I wanted. Get these if you're looking for a pair of European 'hausschuehe'. It is a great shirt to wear around the house and for going to the mailbox as it is easy to don and take off. Designing your own shoes is kind of like creating your own clothing. Two pairs of shoes were delivered to me one pair of rubber soles and one pair of I would definitely buy from them.
The quality of the products is outstanding. The fit was not up to my expectations. I should have ordered an 11 in this slipper, even though I have worn a size 10 my entire adult life and only buy 10 shoes. The cold I feel in my feet makes the rest of me cold. In the end, they become floppy house slippers because they lose their shape. Although they are not efficient at keeping you warm if you keep them on. As soon as you first get them, they appear to be well made and look nice, but once you sit down they feel large and loose towards the middle.
