I have owned my popcorn machine for about ten years and I have tried many brands that claim to be the most authentic, best tasting, or have the least amount of popped kernels. However, we have reached the end! My obligation to write a review of this product stems from having purchased many cases of many other brands and having given them away to guests- only to find half full or full boxes later. Not so with this one, It's not only likeable, but the people also like it. My kids always enjoy this popcorn because when I pop it, the room fills with that fresh popped popcorn smell and not burned popcorn like I have had with other brands. When they start eating it, the kids always say "I feel like I'm at the movies, this is so good. ". Don't miss out on this, you'll be glad that you purchased some ).
In addition to me, my friends enjoy it as well. I love it. I do have one 'gripe,' however. The packaging is a bit difficult to manage, and the seasonings are often mixed with oil, so getting them out can be tricky (messy). But it is better than all the others I have used. Is the Great Northern included in this? It's been a while since I had this good popcorn in a movie. I might pop my own and sneak it into my system.
I followed the instructions on the package (still exact as all others' instructions), let the popper do its work, and within a few minutes, it was done. It's popcorn time! XXXX in color and texture was what I expected, and I noticed that it yielded fewer unpopped kernels (old maids). It is great that Jolly Time separates the corn from the salt, so you can adjust the saltiness to your preference if you desire. The whole package made about the best popcorn that we've made from this type of package if not the best we've ever had. You can find a lot of options for this out there I haven't tried them all yet. In my opinion, this product is the best popcorn option if you're looking for something easy to make and tasty.

On any of the GW kits I received, there is absolutely no date. I saw one on Jolly Time. Regarding kernels that didn't pop, the number was about 35 with George W. You'll need a large pan if you're going to pop the whole 8 ounces. Using a large stock pot, my dutch oven was not big enough to hold the entire bag of rice. However, if you have an 8 oz theatre popper, this is great. The flavor is just right and there is just the right amount of salt, although occasionally I add a small amount more popcorn salt to the mix, but not very often. The popcorn is perfectly fine without butter after it is popped.
