How do we know our whirley pop pan is 8 quart and not 6 quart? This is the only 8 quart I have ever seen. My 6qt popper uses the 4oz and I use it in the bowl. 1) A bigger popper would be amazing! My eyes are now glued to the ground as I look around! My envy is out of control!

In the pre- Popcorn packs with measured quantities - these are for you if you have your own machine or just want someone else to make the measurements and assemble It's as easy as cutting it in half and pouring in perfectly rationed amounts of coconut oil, kernels, and butter salt. The 8 oz portion pack makes 32 cups or 8 1 oz bags when filled with the liquid. Half of what you need is in a 4 oz portion pack. So, 4 cups is 16 ounces and you should be looking at a 2 ounce With my machine I may be able to pop 2 bags and still have room on my table, so with one 4 oz bag I might be able to make do.

There's nothing abnormal about it. Although coconut oil is solid at cool (around 70 degrees F) room temperatures, it is still soft enough to squeeze. A liquid is formed when it melts at around 80 degrees F. Coconut oil is solid (but soft) so I just squeeze it into the pot and enjoy.

As a matter of fact, this popcorn tastes just like the kind you get at the movies. This is really tasty, with just the right amount of salt and butter in it. There's a lot of pop (but it's not chewy) and it's mostly all there. With all that being said, my overall experience with it is excellent and I absolutely love it (I also have a Great Northern popcorn machine that I am using it with). So with that being said, here are a few things I noticed in other reviews 1.
As I received my packets, the oil was congealed and not in a liquid state. By pressing the oil into the kettle with my fingers, I mashed it up. Three minutes later, I turned on the kettle My popcorn comes out perfect. Then I put salt and the cooking liquid into the pot for an additional 4 minutes. In light of the information I provided above, the freshness dates on the packages at the warehouse were all current and had plenty of years left to them. My popcorn did not burn or chewy at all

Popcorn that is chewy and unpalatable. I will always remember this as the worst popcorn I've ever eaten! In order to make popcorn at home, I bought a Great Northern Popcorn machine at As for making popcorn with it, I tried making it with a variety of brands, tried different processes, and it all turned out rubbish. Popcorn is just fine. The popcorn was too "chewy" for me, so that was pretty much the problem. In the range of 1 in 2 One kernel of popcorn cannot be chewed, so it must be spit out because the husk is too tough. Three handfuls of popcorn had this one kernel that could not be chewed. In the instructions for the Great Northern machine, something to the effect that Best results will be obtained as soon as you use the Great Northern brand pretreatment A popcorn kit in a package. As a result, I bought this giant box on Amazon because it was the best price. The popcorn did not come out right when I followed the instructions. I ended up finding it to be worse than the other brands I I first noticed that the package was left right outside my door. I come home and find it full of ants by the time I get it. It's a total mess when they package these things with oil all over the outside. The oil attracted ants, so I had to deal with all of My next attempt was to make several batches of popcorn (5-10 batches). Each time, junk popcorn is made (five to ten times) and they all end up chewy and bad. My popcorn still turned out the same way, even if I tried different poppers other than the Great Northern. Based on all the research I have done, I have found that the kernel is the most important part of good popcorn. It does not matter which machine I use or which kernels I use, because I have always gotten good popcorn from other machines and other brands. Now I am angry that I waited too long to buy the popcorn, which means I am stuck with $35 worth of terrible Popcorn that's already popped in the microwave or at a retail store would be much better for me. In my experience, cutting the solidified "oil" into pieces and putting the whole piece in a warm popper bucket until it melts in the melted oil is a really helpful method. You should also cut across the top of the packet so the kernels and seasoned salt both come out together when you pour them into the popper bucket with the stirrer running. Consequently, there is no spillage and the popped corn has an even color distribution due to properly mixed ingredients. When it comes to the popcorn itself, it was good quality and it usually pops probably 80% of the kernels. That makes it better than microwave popcorn bags, in my opinion, with a much better taste! This is the only butter you need to use to really get the "movie theater butter flavor. ".
It was delicious! Fresh movie popcorn tasted just like it should. Does not need to be seasoned or flavored with It's easy to use. I own the Great Northern Paduca cart popper machine. If I may offer a suggestion, I wish the packets were a little more user-friendly. The popper had difficulty pulling out everything, so I'm not sure how it happened. The popcorn turns out wonderfully and tastes great! The 8 ounce size produces enough product for my hubby and I to each fill a large container.

The first batch stuck to the stirrer in the kettle once it began popping and caused the popcorn to jam up instead of pouring out. I had to manually dump the kettle after about a third of the kernels had popped because the rest had begun A batch of cookies was ruined. The second batch popped as expected, but the flavor was bland and not like the kind you get at a movie theater. The popcorn machine is beautiful and we would like to use it again, but it doesn't produce great tasting popcorn, and overall our experience has been disappointing.
