Because we package all of our products in the same facility, contamination is still a possibility. Floors are swept daily and manually washed when necessary. Contact equipment is cleaned with soap and sanitizer, then rinsed with hot water and wiped dry with paper towels.

They're made in Turkey and packaged in the United States.

Are these roasted without oil or with it?

Roasting ovens are used to roast our organic hazelnuts. There were no vegetable oils used in this recipe.

How do you go about blanching?

Thank you for reaching out to us with your query. Hazelnuts that have been roasted organically in roasting ovens. There are no vegetable oils used in this recipe. The raw kernels are dried gently at 45°C (113°F) for 3 hours after being cleaned by hand and roasted by the heat of the oven. They can also be accurately labeled and sold as "raw organic" food because of the temperature processing.

I prefer them raw because it is more nutritious. Every time I buy something, I know I'm going to make hazelnut butter with it. without the use of chocolate That is something I haven't done yet. It's not that I don't have time; I enjoy snaking on the items I've received because they are so fresh.

Because I can't eat peanuts or almonds, I buy a lot of hazelnuts. This was my first (and most likely final) purchase of this brand, and while I was pleased to find organic hazelnuts at a reasonable price, they did not taste fresh. There was no "best by" date anywhere, which I suspect is a red flag. I'm hoping they make decent hazelnut butter because I hate throwing food away.

I use these to make my own Nutella, and the fact that they've already been roasted and the skins have been removed makes them ideal for the job. I've also eaten them as a snack, and they're delicious, as well as crisp and fresh.
